Connecting Vietnamese goods consumption in the highlands

As a mountainous district of Lai Chau province, Sin Ho district has grasped and effectively implemented the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", in which the district Fatherland Front plays a core role, connecting departments and branches in the district to promote propaganda and mobilize people to use Vietnamese goods, enterprises and business households to provide goods with sufficient variety in designs and guaranteed quality, contributing to changing consumer habits.

In 2023, the Fatherland Front of Sin Ho district advised and issued plans and documents on coordinating the implementation of propaganda for the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in 2023, propagating to people through translation into the Mong, Thai and Dao languages. The Fatherland Front of the district also coordinated with members of the Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" to inspect the goods of a number of booths in 12 communes, and at the same time propagated to business households to strictly implement the Action Program of the Standing Committee of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee on implementing Directive No. 03 of the Secretariat on strengthening the leadership of the Party in the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the new situation; organized assessments through survey forms.

The Fatherland Front of Sin Ho district also coordinated with the Fatherland Front of Lai Chau province to organize propaganda for the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in Sin Ho town for 50 participants. Member organizations from the district to the grassroots level coordinated to carry out 205 propaganda sessions for members, union members and people with 16,400 participants.

Mr. Luong Van Quy - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Sin Ho district said that with the aim of helping people access and trust Vietnamese products, the Fatherland Front of the district has proactively coordinated with departments, branches, organizations and local authorities to promote propaganda about the content of the Campaign, through many propaganda channels in many diverse and rich forms such as organizing fairs and exhibitions, people have easily accessed domestically produced products. Currently, Vietnamese goods have occupied a large market share in the district, with diverse products, beautiful designs, and guaranteed quality, thereby building consumer trust.

According to Mr. Le Ba Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Lai Chau Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, in 2023, the Provincial Fatherland Front will continue to effectively implement the contents of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", coordinate to guide the Fatherland Front at all levels to promote propaganda activities, mobilize people to compete in responding to the implementation of the Campaign's contents. The Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have coordinated to organize 892 propaganda and mobilization sessions in response to the Campaign with more than 47,300 participants, compile and distribute 1,195 leaflets to promote the Campaign.

The Fatherland Front at all levels of Lai Chau province has strengthened coordination with sectors and enterprises to organize 12 fairs and market days to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas, remote areas; coordinated to organize seminars to connect businesses to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas and introduce local products, build model models for the campaign, coordinate to inspect the compliance with legal regulations on price management, price listing of essential goods and services to serve people's consumption needs, coordinate to organize inspections and handle violations of counterfeit goods, fake goods, poor quality goods, and violations of food safety and hygiene. Through many specific and practical actions, the Fatherland Front at all levels of Lai Chau province has contributed to raising awareness and responsibility of businesses and people in the production and consumption of quality Vietnamese products.
