Israel begins operation in southern Gaza

Israeli ground forces have begun operations in southern Gaza, with at least one tank, according to video obtained by CNN . There have also been reports of Israeli raids in Jerusalem and clashes at the Israel-Lebanon border.

An explosion in northern Gaza: Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, head of pediatrics at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, said Monday that an airstrike on the entrance to the hospital killed 10 people. Video taken Sunday evening showed several bodies lying on the sidewalk after the explosion. CNN has not been able to confirm the cause of the explosion and has contacted the IDF for comment on the airstrikes around the hospital.
