The People's Daily on April 15 devoted the entire front page, page 5, most of page 2 and part of page 3 to reporting in detail on the activities within the framework of the visit to Vietnam of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping. This is a special and rare thing for the newspaper with the world's largest circulation, in its role as the mouthpiece of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
On the front page, the newspaper solemnly published the activities within the framework of the visit with four outstanding photos: General Secretary and President Xi Jinping arriving at Noi Bai International Airport and sending a message to the Party, State and people of Vietnam; the official welcoming ceremony for General Secretary and President Xi Jinping at the Presidential Palace; the talks between General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary and President Xi Jinping; General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary and President Xi Jinping witnessing the display of cooperation documents signed between the two countries.
