According to Android Authority , data collected from product review site PerfectRec shows that the iPhone 15 Pro has seen a drop in the number of 5-star reviews when compared to its predecessor. Notably, this is the second year in a row that the iPhone Pro has seen a drop in the number of 5-star reviews. That alludes to user disappointment with the almost-premium model of the iPhone 15 series family.
The 5-star rating for iPhone 15 Pro is only 73%
To compile this data, PerfectRec analyzed more than 690,000 user reviews, finding that just 73% of customers gave the phone a perfect score. That’s down from the 76% the iPhone 14 Pro earned last year, which in turn was down 8% from the iPhone 13 Pro.
The data also shows that the iPhone 15 Pro has the lowest number of 5-star reviews of any Pro model Apple has ever made. However, on a positive note from PerfectRec, the number of 5-star reviews for the base model and the iPhone 15 Plus has increased compared to the previous generation.
There's no specific explanation for why the iPhone 15 Pro's user reviews have dropped, but analysts believe it could be because the Pro models briefly experienced overheating issues before Apple released a patch to fix them. Other than the USB-C port, titanium frame, and programmable Action button, there's not much difference between the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro.
