According to an update on Apple's online store website in Vietnam, Apple has now stopped selling the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 and these phones have been replaced by the newly launched iPhone 16 models.
Discontinuing some iPhone models is a traditional activity of Apple when preparing to launch new products.
Previously, last year after introducing the iPhone 15 series, the company discontinued the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max as well as discontinuing the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max in 2022.
Currently, the iPhone SE 2022 is Apple's most affordable device, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are both $100 cheaper than the iPhone 13 models. The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are $100 cheaper than the new iPhone 16 models.
Apple's online store in Vietnam has the following product prices:
iPhone SE 2022 from 11.99 million VND; iPhone 14 from 17.29 million VND; iPhone 14 Plus from 19.99 million VND; iPhone 15 from 19.99 million VND; iPhone 15 Plus from 22.99 million VND.
However, even if the company stops production, the highest-end iPhone 15 and iPhone 13 models will still be sold by third parties instead of being sold at Apple's official stores and websites.
