Cultural activities held at Sau communal house in Sau Ha village, Thanh Cao commune (Luong Son) attract people to participate.
The People's Committee of Luong Son district has just held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic of Sau communal house, in Sau Ha village, Thanh Cao commune. The communal house has existed for a long time, over time, the ancient communal house was damaged, the people contributed to rebuild a large, beautiful, spacious communal house, made of four-piece wood, in the shape of the letter "J", including the Front Court and the Back Palace. Sau communal house existed until 1950, when the French colonialists swept through the area, the communal house was burned down, leaving only the foundation. After many renovations, the communal house was rebuilt as it is today. Based on the Divine Relic - Divine Decree of Sau village, Thanh Luong village, Thanh Luong commune, Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province, preserved at the Institute of Social Science Information - Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, the old Sau communal house has 4 royal decrees conferred by the Nguyen dynasty on the gods such as: Dong Khanh Nhi nien (1887), Duy Tan Tam nien (1909); 2 Royal decrees of Khai Dinh (1924). Based on the Divine Relics - Divine Decrees, Sau Communal House worships the three Supreme Deities of Tan Vien Son including: Supreme Deity of Tan Vien Son Quoc Chua; Supreme Deity of Cao Son Dai Vuong; Supreme Deity of Quy Minh Dai Vuong. At the communal house, cultural and religious activities take place to meet the spiritual needs of the people. Every year, the Sau Communal House festival is held on the 5th of January with many unique activities. Being ranked as a provincial historical - cultural relic, Sau Communal House promises to be an attractive tourist destination, contributing to the socio-economic development of the area.
Currently, in Luong Son district, there are 65 relics and scenic spots; 19 relics have been ranked, of which 8 are national relics including: Tam cave (archaeology), Cho cave (archaeology), Nui Sang cave (archaeology), Man Nguyen cave (scenic spot), Khu Thuong cave (scenic spot), Da Bac cave (scenic spot), Trung Son cave (scenic spot), Trung Bao communal house and temple (history - culture); 11 provincial relics; and 46 other relics are in the protection list according to the decision of the Provincial People's Committee.
Comrade Bui Quoc Hoan, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, said: The work of preserving relics in Luong Son district has been carried out systematically, from inventory, documentation to protection, restoration and promotion of values. The district-level relic management board has been strengthened with 8 members. At the commune level, there are 9 relic management boards and 19 relic management teams in villages and hamlets operating effectively. The responsible staff is arranged reasonably to ensure strict and effective management of relics.
Accordingly, the work of preserving and restoring relics is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Cultural Heritage and guiding documents for implementation. Luong Son district has mobilized many resources, including the state budget and socialized resources to restore and embellish a number of important relics such as: Uncle Ho's visit to Chi Hoa Production Group (Lam Son commune) with a total investment of 24 billion VND from the state budget; Coi communal house relic with a total investment of 44.8 billion VND from the district budget and socialized resources. Other relics such as Ba Lam temple - shrine, Hang Xa communal house (Thanh Cao commune), Dong Suong communal house (Lien Son commune), Quen Thi communal house (Cao Duong commune) are also being given attention for restoration. The restoration and protection of relics is not only to preserve historical values, but also to serve the cultural and religious needs of the people, contributing to the development of tourism and local socio-economic development. The organization of festival activities at relics in the area is of interest. Luong Son district has 6 to 12 festivals held annually, mainly traditional festivals associated with the cultural characteristics of each locality. The district has promoted propaganda, dissemination and legal education to raise awareness and promote the value of relics through conferences, competitions, performances, mobile propaganda and cultural events. The relics have initially combined conservation with tourism exploitation, creating highlights to attract tourists, typically Quat Lam Pagoda, Tu Den, Trung Bao Temple - Shrine, Da Bac Cave and the place where Uncle Ho visited Chi Hoa Production Group.
Comrade Bui Quoc Hoan, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, added: To continue preserving and promoting the value of relics, Luong Son district has set out a number of key tasks in the coming time, such as: Strengthening propaganda about the role of historical relics, encouraging socialization to mobilize resources for restoration and conservation work. Installing signs and QR codes at relic sites to serve tourists and improve management efficiency. Organizing professional training on relic management for relic management boards and relic management teams in the locality. Efforts in preserving and promoting the value of relics in the district not only help preserve the national cultural identity, but also create a premise for socio-economic development and sustainable tourism, contributing to making Luong Son district an attractive cultural destination.
