Cooperating in digital transformation, improving the application of technology in police work

On March 26, Hanoi City Police and Mobifone Company Region 1 held a conference to coordinate the implementation of digital transformation in telecommunications and information technology in the City Police.

At the conference, the parties discussed many practical initiatives such as: integrating the VNeID electronic identification system, deploying online public services and applying AI solutions to data analysis, security monitoring, supporting violation detection, helping authorities make quick and accurate decisions.

The units and functional departments also gave specific comments to optimize the operating process and ensure work efficiency in each specific field.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of Hanoi City Police emphasized the importance of digital transformation in the current context; at the same time, he affirmed that the integration of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing into electronic identification systems, data systems, monitoring, etc. not only helps improve the efficiency of management work, but also contributes to improving the quality of service to the people as well as ensuring security and order in the city.

At the conference, Colonel Nguyen Tien Dat - Deputy Director of the City Police Department directed and assigned professional departments to focus on implementing modern digital transformation solutions in the process of performing practical tasks; as well as building a methodical digital transformation strategy, focusing on applying smart technology in the process of handling practical tasks.

Deputy General Director of Mobifone Telecommunications Company Nguyen Dinh Tuan pledged to closely coordinate with Hanoi City Police in improving telecommunications infrastructure and integrating modern digital solutions; creating favorable conditions for the digital transformation process and improving the quality of online public services.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tuan also assessed that specific proposals and initiatives were made to optimize the operating process, contributing to the construction of a modern technology system, directly applying all aspects of the work of the Capital Police force, aiming for professionalism and timely response to all task requirements in the new context.

The cooperation between the two sides is not only an opportunity to carefully assess the current status of digital technology application in the city police, but also opens up many new directions, creating momentum for strategic steps in the process of strong digital transformation, meeting the requirements in the new situation of the Capital.
