Honor V Purse with strange design is about to be sold in China

This product was introduced by Honor at the IFA 2023 consumer electronics exhibition on September 1, when the company did not reveal whether the device would be sold on the market or not.

The Honor V Purse is designed with innovation in mind, combining the features of a foldable phone and a handbag. In addition to its stylish design, Honor has also made the V Purse eco-friendly by using sustainable materials such as vegan leather for the strap. The strap has a removable chain for replacement. Vegan leather, made from organic materials such as pineapple leaves, tends to be more expensive than plastic-based leather, although it is still cheaper than traditional leather.

The Honor V Purse is also very thin, measuring just 9mm thick, which is even thinner than the foldable Magic V2 that Honor recently launched.

In terms of design, the Honor V Purse is similar to the Huawei Mate Xs 2, which shares the same feature of being a smartphone that can fold its screen outwards, creating a wallet-like design with a phone screen surrounding it. However, unlike inward-folding phones like the Honor Magic V2, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, the V Purse does not incorporate a secondary display, according to Gizmochina .

In terms of functionality, the V Purse is still a phone, not a wallet or handbag to carry things around. Honor calls the V Purse design a “realistic digital fashion statement,” combining physical elements like a strap with an interactive always-on display (AOD).

The aim is to provide versatility through interchangeable straps and a range of AOD designs visible on both sides, making it easy for users to coordinate the Honor V Wallet with any outfit.

Some reports say that the Honor V Purse will have a Snapdragon 778G chip, which is expected to support 35W fast charging. However, the company has not revealed many details about the hardware of the V Purse because it is not yet in mass production. However, the company revealed that it has created a hinge that can withstand 400,000 folds.
