Taking place on April 4, the event was organized by HUTECH Information Technology Faculty in collaboration with the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), Vietnam Digital Technology Alliance (VNITO), Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA), Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) and businesses. The festival provided a space for HUTECH students and universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring areas to meet employers and apply for suitable job positions.

At the festival, many HUTECH students confidently met businesses, participated in interviews, discussed directly about the career positions they were interested in as well as listened to the sharing and orientation from employers. Thereby, they had a comprehensive view of the labor market to continue to improve their expertise, skills and abilities. In particular, businesses also quickly found suitable candidates right at the festival.
Linking businesses and schools: a practical training model
Within the framework of the event, HUTECH signed strategic cooperation agreements with 12 prestigious enterprises in the field of Information Technology, aiming to expand the connection network, improve training quality and create internship and work conditions for students.
Along with that, many Talented and Overcoming Difficulty Scholarships and Encouragement Scholarships worth up to more than 100 million VND were awarded to students. This is a great source of motivation for students to continue to improve their expertise and skills, ready to become excellent human resources, contributing positive values to society.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Vice Principal of the University said: “Over the past 30 years, HUTECH has trained many generations of students who are now participating in the economy, receiving recognition and high appreciation from businesses. Hopefully, the cooperative relationship between the University and businesses will always be strong towards the goal of developing and training generations of talented people who are useful to society.”
