On the morning of August 28, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, the delegation attending the conference to honor typical advanced models in the field of Culture, Sports and Tourism nationwide in 2023, led by Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, along with more than 330 typical advanced models, representing millions of flowers and thousands of good deeds in the field of Culture, Sports and Tourism across the country, reported their achievements to Uncle Ho.

At the solemn and emotional ceremony, delegates listened to President Ho Chi Minh's call for patriotic emulation.
To demonstrate the determination of the entire culture, sports and tourism sector in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tra Vinh province, Duong Hoang Sum, representing 330 typical advanced delegates and 78 typical delegates who were commended, reported their achievements to Uncle Ho.

Deeply aware of the task of building and developing Vietnamese culture and people in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference in November 2021, with the consistent motto "Decisive action, Aspiration to contribute", the entire industry has strived to create breakthroughs, bold and comprehensive marks in most fields, gradually meeting the trust and expectations of the Party, State and people.
The whole sector has focused on innovating the mindset from "doing culture" to "state management of culture", identifying state management through legal tools, mechanisms and policies as the core and continuous task to "unlock resources" and "promote creativity"; strengthening "consolidation, construction and improvement of cultural institutions" to remove policy barriers, enhance autonomy, self-accounting, build specific mechanisms for a number of cultural activities to unleash creativity, exploit cultural resources and encourage active participation of society, creating motivation to promote endogenous strength for economic and social development...

Vietnamese sports continue to set historical milestones. The success of SEA Games 31 to SEA Games 32 has contributed significantly to enhancing the image and position of the country and Vietnamese people in the region and internationally. The national women's football team has qualified for the 2023 World Cup Finals for the first time.
The movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" has developed strongly; physical exercise and sports have gradually become a habit like brushing teeth and washing face every day for every citizen.

Tourism has been gradually opened up, accelerated strongly and made positive contributions to the country's economic and social recovery and development after the Covid-19 pandemic. Vietnam's tourism development capacity index has increased rapidly in recent years and is among the three countries with the highest improvement rate in the world.
