Chau Nguyen Tung Son is a 4th year student of the Faculty of Literature, Hanoi National University of Education. He has cherished the dream of becoming a Literature teacher since he was a child, constantly striving to study and has won many awards from Literature competitions for excellent students in secondary and high school.
Third prize in the Literature competition for excellent students in Nghe An province and an Encouragement prize in History helped him get admitted directly to the Literature Department, Hanoi National University of Education .

Son said that it was the Literature competitions that helped him “reach his dream” and that he could support and tutor Literature for many students. Many students from this special class achieved 9+ on the National High School Exam, becoming valedictorians and salutatorians. “Son’s Literature class started from then, and is still active today, and there are many successful students from this course,” he said.
“I love and pursue studying Literature because I believe that studying and teaching Literature can always make me more polite every day. Thanks to studying Literature, I have good communication skills, a rich soul and more love, so I am more motivated to spread positive values to those around me,” Son said.
During nearly 4 years of university, the " gen Z teacher" continuously achieved good academic results at school, most recently in the first semester of the 4th year, his GPA was 3.25.
He also participated in the teaching competition, extracurricular activities and the Youth Union.
Son shared that he wants to become a new generation teacher who is modern, dynamic and always "standard - creative - pioneering" as the slogan of Hanoi National University of Education.
“I not only want to become a good teacher but also a hero who inspires young people. I want to do that starting with small literature lessons…”, Son said.
I think that when becoming a teacher in the integration era, I need to harmonize and promote the traditional values of the teaching profession and update modern knowledge and skills to be able to convey in each teaching session, bringing excitement to learning and exploring for students; as well as inspiring and setting an example of action", Chau Nguyen Tung Son.
Media Ambassador
Chau Nguyen Tung Son is an active male student, constantly challenging himself to improve himself by trying his hand in many other fields such as hosting and modeling .
He was once in the Top 20 of Vietnam International MC Contest; champion of The Star Glory Model Vietnam model contest; 1st runner-up of the 2024 Elegant Student contest organized by the Central Agencies' Youth Union in collaboration with the Vietnam Women's Academy.

Along with his handsome looks and impressive academic and activity achievements, Son once made his mark in the Elegant Student contest with his talented performance of the "Cầu Bé Bắc Lệ" spirit medium performance.
He shared: “My family has a long tradition of following the Mother Goddess religion and I myself am a medium, a child of the Mother Goddess religion”. Through the talented performance in the contest, we can spread the beauty of traditional national culture, thereby conveying the message to young people to always preserve, conserve, honor and promote cultural beauty.
After the contest, Son received a lot of love from the audience and participated in many activities and events as an ambassador, an inspirational figure, such as sharing about learning - teaching literature, and volunteering .
Recently, Chau Nguyen Tung Son is a media ambassador who contributes to spreading the volunteer program of donating "Nurturing Bookcase" in response to the Winter and Spring volunteer programs in Tuyen Quang organized by the LITTLE HEARTS Community Volunteer Club - a member of the National Volunteer Network (National Volunteer Center - Central Youth Union); the program "Tet to complete the heart and peace", of the Law Faculty Youth Union, National Economics University...

"Revealing" his plans for the near future, Son hopes to teach Literature at a high school after graduating from university. He is also nurturing his own community projects as the 1st runner-up of Elegant Student. "I want to spread the image of a passionate, idealistic and benevolent Young Student runner-up," Son said.
"When it comes to Tet, I think of the reunion scene with all my relatives. After a year away from home studying and working, I am always eager to return home with everyone. On the occasion of the New Year of At Ty 2025 , I would like to send my best wishes for health and all the best to everyone." - Tung Son shared.
