On April 1, Ha Nam province worked with the University of Transport on research and survey for investment in building a second branch at Nam Cao University Area.

Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province affirmed that with the goal of soon bringing universities to invest in the province, Ha Nam is ready to accompany and support the University of Transport to quickly complete the procedures according to regulations to deploy construction as planned.

Thanks to natural conditions, geographical location, traffic, favorable land and preferential policies, up to now, Nam Cao University Area has become an investment destination gathering many universities, academies, colleges, intermediate schools, and famous training institutions registering for research and investment.

In the Nam Cao University area, there are currently two active educational and training institutions: the University of Construction, a project of FPT Education Company. In addition, there are dozens of schools registered to invest here.

At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Chuong, Chairman of the Council of the University of Transport, thanked the University of Transport for creating the best conditions for the University of Transport to have the opportunity to invest in building the second branch in the province. At the same time, he expressed his belief that when the second branch comes into operation, it will be an opportunity for teachers and students of the school to have a good environment to study and research.

The Nam Cao University area approved by the Government is located in Duy Tien town and Phu Ly city (Ha Nam province), with an area of ​​754 hectares, training scale of 50,000 students, 4,000 teachers and about 30,000 urban residents.

The goal is to meet the need for training technical human resources at university, college, and intermediate levels and the need to improve the quality of university education for the Red River Delta and the Hanoi Capital region during the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country.
