Consultation workshop on some policies and regimes for preschool and primary school teachers

In order to grasp and clarify the difficulties and obstacles from the grassroots level in implementing and organizing the implementation of policies and regimes for teachers in ethnic minority areas, on March 25, in Muong Khuong district, the Department of Teachers and Educational Managers (Ministry of Education and Training) held a consultation workshop on a number of policies and regimes for preschool and general education teachers; the work of developing a team of teachers teaching ethnic minority languages.

At the workshop, delegates discussed the Draft Decree on preferential allowances for teachers, managers, and employees working in public educational institutions; issues related to the implementation of working regimes; overtime pay regime (according to Circular 48/2011/TT-BGDDT and Joint Circular 07/2013/TTLT-BGDDT-BNV-BTC); policies for developing the team of teachers teaching ethnic minority languages.

After listening to the opinions of the school units, the Working Group of the Department of Teachers and Educational Managers acknowledged the efforts, attempts, and overcoming of difficulties in performing educational tasks of the entire team of teachers, civil servants, and workers in the education sector of Muong Khuong district, especially the team of teachers working at educational institutions in ethnic minority and particularly disadvantaged areas.

With the difficulties and obstacles in implementing the regime and policies, the Working Group said that it will fully absorb and continue to research, and provide advice to the leaders of the Ministry and the Government to continue reviewing, adjusting, amending and supplementing decrees and circulars in the most suitable and easy-to-implement direction and ensuring the best policy benefits for teachers, civil servants and workers in general, and for Muong Khuong district in particular in the coming time.
