The workshop is part of the 5th Quang Nam Province Creative Startup Week - TechFest Quang Nam 2024.
Attending the workshop were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Vietnam - Mr. Shovgi Mehdizade; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Vietnam - Mr. Kanat Tumysh; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Vietnam - Mr. Gaman Oleksander; Dr. Dinh Viet Hoa - Chairman of the National Startup Association; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Thi Thu Lan; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan; Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Pham Ngoc Sinh - Head of the Provincial Startup Support Executive Board and representatives of research institutes, localities, universities and colleges at home and abroad.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Thi Phuong Anh - Principal of Quang Nam College said that the workshop hopes to contribute to the implementation of the Government's Startup Project goals, launching the province's creative startup movement until 2030, forming a sustainable creative startup ecosystem.
The workshop will focus on discussing the issue of developing start-up ideas of domestic and international students; recommendations and solutions to improve the feasibility and effectiveness of connecting start-up ideas of students with investment enterprises; ways to realize start-up ideas of learners; awareness and promotion of the role and responsibility of teachers and managers in developing start-up ideas of students; expanding cooperation between relevant partners and orientation for training high-quality human resources domestically and internationally.
According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan, the workshop is an opportunity to assess the current status of developing startup ideas of students, connecting with businesses in vocational education activities in particular and education and training in general.
Thereby, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, identifying causes to propose practical solutions to promote creative start-up activities; promoting links and cooperation with management and labor-using units to open up new opportunities for students as well as orienting the training of high-quality human resources domestically and internationally.
At the same time, propose and recommend to superiors a number of solutions to improve the effectiveness of developing creative startup ideas of students in the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years.
“Through the workshop, I hope that delegates, scientists, and researchers at home and abroad will study important factors affecting ideas and effectiveness of creative start-up activities among students of educational institutions in Quang Nam and throughout the country.
The relationship between educational institutions and businesses in orienting the training of high-quality human resources, supporting start-ups and creating jobs for students aims to contribute to improving competitiveness and socio-economic development of the country" - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan emphasized.
