On the morning of January 10, the Provincial Farmers' Association held a conference to review the association's work and farmers' movement in 2024, and set out directions and tasks for 2025.
Delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of the emulation covenant of the Farmers' Association of districts and cities.
In 2024, Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province actively participated in building a strong Party and government. Major emulation movements were widely deployed in all levels of the Association. Consulting, vocational training and support activities for farmers, and building collective economic models achieved practical results. The role and responsibility of the association organizations at all levels in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of farmer members continued to be promoted.
Up to now, the capital source of the Farmers Support Fund in the whole province has reached over 50 billion VND, lending to 1,260 households with outstanding loans reaching 46.5 billion VND. The Farmers' Association in the province has coordinated with the Social Policy Bank to lend to 28,470 households with outstanding loans reaching over 1,680 billion VND; Coordinated with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to lend to 11,300 households with outstanding loans reaching over 1,670 billion VND.
In 2025, Vinh Phuc Farmers' Association at all levels will continue to innovate content and methods and improve the quality and efficiency of operations; Improve the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements, especially the movement "Farmers compete in production, good business, unite to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty"; Support members and farmers to start innovative businesses, develop diverse household economic models, and actively participate in socio-economic development in the area.
