21st Conference (expanded) of the Party Executive Committee of Binh Gia District

- On March 20, Binh Gia District Party Committee held the 21st (expanded) District Party Executive Committee meeting to evaluate the implementation of tasks in the first quarter and deploy key tasks in the second quarter.

Attending the event were comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the report, in the first quarter of 2025, the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of Binh Gia District Party Committee united and proactively led and directed the work of Party building, socio-economic development, and ensuring national defense and security, achieving many positive results.

Specifically, in the field of economic development, the People's Committees of communes and towns mobilized nearly 10,000 working days to repair 240 small irrigation works, build new 2.5 km of rural concrete roads; planted 490 hectares of new forests; collected VND 8.9 billion in budget revenue, reaching 35% of the provincial estimate; in the field of basic construction, disbursement of public investment capital was implemented according to plan.

The work of eliminating dilapidated houses was carried out as planned, the whole district has completed the construction of 133/156 new houses; repaired 105/188 houses. At the same time, the People's Committees of the communes have completed the review and there are 816 households in need of building new or repairing houses in 2025.

The socio-cultural fields; Party building and political system building were carried out according to plan; the political and ideological situation among cadres, party members and people was stable; the security and defense fields were maintained.

At the conference, delegates discussed and clarified the results achieved; difficulties and obstacles and proposed some solutions related to areas such as: the slow progress of repairing dilapidated houses; the progress of granting first-time land use right certificates to households and organizations has not met the requirements; and the slow site clearance of projects.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Duong Xuan Huyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, praised the results achieved in all aspects of work of the Binh Gia District Party Committee in the first 3 months of 2025 as very positive compared to the plan, typically: budget collection, afforestation, eliminating dilapidated houses...

Regarding the tasks in the second quarter of 2025, the member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Binh Gia District Party Committee to focus on leading the drastic and effective implementation of the key tasks assigned at the beginning of the year as well as the newly added key tasks, not to neglect the work at agencies and units such as: removing difficulties and obstacles in slow-progressing projects; developing growth scenarios in 2025; developing a plan to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. At the same time, the Binh Gia District Party Committee pays attention to political and ideological education for cadres and party members; well prepares conditions for organizing Party Congresses at all levels, especially in developing documents and personnel; Continue to implement the conclusions of the Central and the province to implement Resolution 18 of the Central, on a number of issues on continuing to innovate, reorganize and streamline the political system to operate effectively and efficiently.

Based on the direction of the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, in the second quarter of 2025, Binh Gia District Party Committee will focus on implementing the conclusions of the Central Committee, the province and the key tasks assigned, especially implementing Resolution 18 of the Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently. At the same time, the district will continue to do a good job of protecting internal politics; speed up the progress of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, striving to complete in August 2025; speed up the disbursement of public investment capital and national target programs.
