Young Japanese businessman wants to expand operations in Vietnam
Through cooperation with the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Osaka (Japan) businesses hope to develop their brands and promote their activities in Vietnam.
A delegation from the Japan International Federation of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs (JCI Osaka) recently visited and worked in Ho Chi Minh City. The delegation was led by Mr. Tanaka Ryota, Chairman of the International Business Promotion Committee, along with representatives of JCI Osaka member businesses.
During the working session with the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, the two sides discussed the operating model, development situation and shared experiences in organizing activities for young entrepreneurs. Cooperation and business connection opportunities between member enterprises of the two countries were also discussed in detail.

In particular, 5 large and long-standing Japanese companies and brands in the fields of construction, tea, cuisine, health, and trade services introduced their services and hoped to connect with the young business community of both sides through the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, cooperate in business, enhance product value, and promote the brands of businesses of both countries.
Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Mau, Vice President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, said that at the 43rd Japan Young Entrepreneurs Association Congress held in March 2024, the Vietnam and Japan Young Entrepreneurs Associations signed a cooperation agreement to promote trade connection activities between businesses of the two countries, focusing on economic and green economic fields.
"Japan has long been an important economic partner of Vietnam. Osaka is a major economic center of Japan with strong development in areas such as technology, manufacturing and energy. Through this meeting, we hope to have the opportunity to exchange and learn valuable experiences from young Japanese entrepreneurs, especially in the fields of technology, investment, logistics and sustainable development. At the same time, we also believe that the cooperation between the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Osaka International Federation of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs will bring many positive values to the business communities of the two countries," said Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Mau.
In the coming time, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and Osaka Young Entrepreneurs, Japan will share information on trade connections, fairs, exhibitions to promote trade and investment between the two sides; coordinate and support each other in organizing working sessions to connect businessmen and enterprises of both sides in production and business; share information with each other on projects calling for and promoting investment between Vietnam and Japan; create conditions for cooperation in research and application development in the fields of green technology, renewable energy, etc.
