How is literacy supported in Binh Phuoc?

Resolution No. 30/2023/NQ-HDND dated December 8, 2023 of the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province stipulates the support policy for ethnic minorities to participate in literacy classes. Accordingly, ethnic minority people participating in literacy classes will receive many supports to encourage learning and socio-economic development.

According to Resolution No. 30/2023/NQ-HDND dated December 8, 2023 of the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province, ethnic minority people participating in literacy training will enjoy support levels.

Scope of regulation and applicable subjects:

According to Article 1 of the Resolution, the scope of adjustment includes the entire literacy program under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period, Phase I from 2021 to 2025 in Binh Phuoc province.

The subjects of application are ethnic minority people participating in literacy training.

Content and level of support:

+ Support content: Support for ethnic minority people to participate in literacy training to encourage learning, contribute to improving people's knowledge and socio-economic development.

+ Specific expenditure level: According to Clause 2, Article 2 of the Resolution, the support level is 500,000 VND/person/when completing a semester program, equivalent to completing a class program according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Conditions for receiving support

Learners need to ensure the following conditions:

+ Fully participate in the curriculum: Learners must have confirmation from the educational institution about participating in and completing the literacy program according to the output standards of the Ministry of Education and Training (Circular No. 33/2021/TT-BGDDT dated November 26, 2021).

+ Complete the application for review: Including documents such as application form, certificate of course completion, certificate of residence in ethnic minority areas.

Funding sources:

According to Article 3 of the Resolution, the support funding source is taken from the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the 2021-2030 period, Phase I: from 2021 to 2025. In addition, other legal funding sources can be used in accordance with the provisions of law.

Organizing and supervising agency:

Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee: Organize the implementation of support contents in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Resolution.

Provincial People's Council: Supervise implementation to ensure publicity, transparency and correct beneficiaries.

Thus, you can absolutely be supported with 500,000 VND/semester if you complete the local literacy program.
