(Dan Tri) - Hanoi students have 9 consecutive days off according to the general Tet holiday schedule, returning to school on the 6th day of Tet.
The 2025 Lunar New Year holiday for Hanoi students will last from January 25 to February 2, 2025 (December 26 to January 5). Thus, compared to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi students will have 2 days less off and are among the provinces and cities with the least Tet holiday in the country.
During the Tet holiday, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires schools to strengthen education for students to practice civilized lifestyles, maintain social order and safety, traffic safety, strictly implement regulations on the use of fireworks, improve skills to prevent accidents, injuries and social evils.
Units also, depending on actual conditions, pay attention to the material and spiritual life of cadres, teachers, employees and students; carefully organize visits and assistance to cadres and teachers in difficult circumstances and those under preferential policies so that everyone can have the conditions to celebrate Tet.
The Department also requires schools to report their Tet duty schedules and send them to the Department before January 15.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Hanoi will have 2.3 million students from kindergarten to high school.
