Accordingly, in 2024, the Polish Government will grant 20 scholarships for Vietnamese citizens to study in Poland: undergraduate (3-4 years), master's (2 years), doctoral (3-4 years) for all fields of study, except for fields related to medicine, pharmacy and arts.
The Polish Government will waive tuition and research fees, and arrange paid accommodation in dormitories according to the regulations of the Polish Government.
The Vietnamese Government provides round-trip airfare, travel expenses, passport and visa fees, health insurance and monthly living allowance according to current regulations for students studying under the Agreement scholarship in Poland.
Candidates can choose from a wide range of fields of study except medicine and arts to study in Poland.
The language used during the study and research is Polish. If the applicant has never studied at a university or postgraduate level in Poland, he/she will be arranged to study a preparatory year of Polish before entering the specialized program. After that, the applicant must pass the Polish language exam.
This scholarship stipulates that for specialized courses, candidates must pass the entrance exam (depending on the specific requirements of the training institution and the study program) to be officially accepted. If they do not pass these exams, candidates will have to return home and reimburse the entire training cost to the state or switch to self-funded study.
Specific preliminary round requirements are as follows:
College Scholarship
First-year full-time students of Vietnamese universities, colleges, and universities with results of 3 years of high school, high school graduation exam score, and first semester of first year university of 7.0 or higher.
Students in grade 12 who have participated in the national team to compete in international and regional Olympic competitions and won gold, silver and bronze medals; or participated in the national excellent student selection exam, national science and technology competition and won first, second and third prizes, have high school academic results up to the end of the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year of 7.0 or higher and have university admission results in 2024 when completing school admission procedures.
Master's Scholarship
People with a university degree of good or higher, currently working at state agencies or university education institutions (on the payroll or under a contract of 12 months or more with social insurance), not over 35 years old (as of April 1, 2024), with a minimum working period of 12 months from the date of the first labor contract up to the deadline for submitting application documents.
University graduates from January 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024 with excellent academic results, no recruitment decision or employment contract, labor contract, and commitment to return to work in Vietnam after completing the course as required by the state.
PhD Scholarship
People with a university degree of good or higher and a master's degree GPA of 7.0 or higher, currently working at state agencies or university education institutions (on the payroll or on a long-term contract of 12 months or more with social insurance), not over 40 years old (as of April 1, 2024), with a minimum working period of 12 months from the date of the first labor contract after graduating from university or master's, as of the application deadline.
People with a university degree of good or higher and a master's degree graduated between January 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024 in Vietnam with an average GPA of 8.0 or higher or abroad with excellent academic results, not over 35 years old (as of April 1, 2024), without a recruitment decision or employment contract, labor contract, and a commitment to return to work in Vietnam after completing the course as required by the state.
