The Australian Government's 2025 Masters Scholarships open for applications from February 1, awarding 60 scholarships to Vietnamese candidates.
The Australian Embassy in Vietnam announced today that it will accept applications for this scholarship until April 30 (23:59 Canberra time). The scholarship includes round-trip airfare, initial settlement allowance upon arrival in Australia, tuition fees, living allowance, health insurance, field research allowance, etc.
Applicants will be considered based on their professional qualifications, personal qualities, academic achievements and ability to make an impact on development challenges in Vietnam.
Female, disabled and vulnerable applicants are encouraged to apply. The Australian Government has a support program to ensure equality for these applicants.

Priority scholarship areas include Agriculture - Forestry - Fisheries; Digital Transformation; Information Technology; Education; Environment, Climate Change, Energy; Governance and Economic Development; Gender Equality, Disability; Health; Regional Stability and Human Rights. Other areas (except Business Administration, Medicine, Pharmacy) will be considered based on the quality of the application.
Applicants must have a regular university degree, at least 24 months of work experience related to the field of study in Vietnam (as of April 30), and must not apply for a second master's degree. In addition, applicants must provide complete information about the study programs they have participated in in Vietnam or abroad.
The average university score and English requirements for applicants are as follows:
Valid IELTS (or TOEFL iBT, PTE academic) certificate must have a test date from 1/1/2023 onwards.

Australia Awards Scholarships are administered by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
Through this country’s scholarships, more than 6,500 Vietnamese people have come to Australia to study. Scholarship recipients are expected to develop skills and knowledge, to create change and contribute to building the relationship between the two countries.
