Hoang Bach: "Making music for football is my dream"
Hoang Bach performs a song to cheer for Vietnamese football
Singer Hoang Bach made an impression with "Chieu nay ra san", an interesting music project right from the beginning of the year, especially with the bustling atmosphere of the country's football before the Vietnam National Team flies to Qatar to attend the 2023 Asian Cup.
Hoang Bach confided about the project: "Just keep pursuing it, and one day your dream will answer you, in one way or another.
I never dreamed of becoming a football player, because I knew I had no qualities related to this job, except for my burning love for football. Not only do I love football, I also love playing football.
I was so passionate that the first memory of receiving a full kick in the face, lying on my back on the field next to Nam Dinh Cathedral at the age of 3-4 while following my brother to play football is still the most sacred and beautiful thing in my mind. But the dream of making music for football, of contributing my ability to the cultural part of football, is there."

Hoang Bach invited his "football teammates" to sing to cheer for Vietnamese football.
Hoang Bach described this as a "dream come true" when the song "Chieu nay ra san" featured the voices of his brothers and teammates such as singers Pham Anh Khoa, Hoang Ton, SOOBIN, Pham Dinh Thai Ngan and Ho Khanh Long - those who have "stood shoulder to shoulder" with Hoang Bach many times on the football field.
"The song will be sent to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) as the official cheering song of the Vietnam National Team at the 2023 Asian Cup in Qatar. The song will be officially released at: 8:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024 on Hoang Bach - Bach20 Official channel, VFF Official and other channels" - Hoang Bach said.
"Hopefully, the song conveys the faith and happiness from hearts that love pure football, giving us more strength to fight harder, overcome difficulties to be worthy representatives of a country with the world's leading passion for football like Vietnam" - Hoang Bach said.
AFC recommends that teams at the Asian Cup have their own songs to cheer and represent their national colors. Recently, many people have discussed which song is worthy for VFF to send to AFC to play before and during matches with the participation of the team.
Hoang Bach said he had fulfilled his dream.
In Vietnam, there are many songs that are not specifically for cheering that are played in the stands. Mostly because they are familiar, others because they have not found a suitable song. "Chieu nay ra san" is the first cheering song specifically for football. The song was written based on Hoang Bach's football experiences for more than 30 years as a fan and amateur player, and has been present in most stadium stands in Vietnam.
Hoang Bach is not only remembered as an enthusiastic fan of Vietnamese football but also as someone who has made practical contributions to football with his talent. "Dragon's Steps" is the first stadium anthem for Vietnamese football, produced by Hoang Bach and his team in 2022.
Therefore, the male singer was sought out by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and "Chieu nay ra san" will be broadcast at stadiums in Qatar before the matches of the Vietnam football team.
