Miss Ý Nhi suddenly appeared at the event

This event marked the beginning of the journey to find a representative face for Vietnamese beauty at the Miss International arena. The preliminary round attracted attention with the appearance of the jury, including: Miss Ha Kieu Anh - Deputy Head of the jury, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Luong Thuy Linh and runner-up Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh.

Miss World Vietnam 2023 Huynh Tran Y Nhi was also present at the event and then returned to Australia after a short break and work in Vietnam.

Y Nhi also attended the preliminary round of Miss Vietnam 2024.

After the anthropometric round, Master Pham Kim Dung - Head of the organizing committee expressed: "100% of you are university students or have graduated, demonstrating maturity and courage. With experience participating in different competitions, along with promising new faces, we believe that this year's competition will be attractive."

She also commented on the contestants' appearance: "This year's contestants are very beautiful, even though they have just started competing early, they have already shown their own mark. Most of the contestants are 1.7m or taller, there are also some contestants who are a little shorter, but their beauty is quite even."

Some prominent faces at the preliminary round:

Le Hoang Thu Anh is currently an English lecturer and Master of TESOL from the University of Birmingham (UK), impressing with IELTS 8.0 and French B2 CEFR certificates.

The girl from the ancient capital of Hue - Pham Thi Kieu Oanh - attracted attention with her experience as an interpreter for Miss Charm Brazil at the Miss Charm 2023 contest.

Le Huyen Trang is a student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City. She made her own mark when she confidently introduced herself in Chinese.

Quan Tran Gia Han is the runner-up of Face of Television 2022 and 2nd runner-up of Miss Peace Vietnam 2022. She is also the valedictorian of the Drama - Cinema - Television Acting major at the University of Theater and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City.

Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Duy, representative of Tay Do region, brought to the contest an impressive record of achievements with the titles of Miss Tay Do Beauty 2023 and Miss FPTU Can Tho 2022.

Phan Le Kim Ngoc is the youngest contestant, born in 2005. She attracted attention with a series of impressive achievements including: 1st Runner-up of Tay Do Beauty 2023 and Miss Thanh Lich Can Tho City Student 2023.

Representative from Hoa Binh - Nguyen Minh Phuong - is the 2nd Runner-up of Miss Elegance Vietnam 2023 and the Second Prize of the Student Talent Contest 2021.

The girl from Bac Lieu - Nguyen Nha Linh - stands out with the titles including: Miss Hutech Sports Beauty 2020, 1st Runner-up Fitness Student Star 2022, 2nd Runner-up Fitness Model World Vietnam 2022.

In addition, other contestants such as Nguyen Thi Cam Ly, Do Thai Khanh Vy, Doan Thuy Vy, Bui Thi Anh Dao and Nguyen Thi Xuan Tra also impressed with their beauty and academic achievements.

The final night of Miss Vietnam 2024 is expected to take place in December, the new beauty queen will represent Vietnam at the Miss International 2025 arena.
