To realize this goal, Hoa Binh has implemented many synchronous solutions, focusing on three main pillars: restructuring the agricultural sector, encouraging the development of key products, and developing clean and sustainable agriculture.
In particular, Hoa Binh has completed the planning and orientation for the development of concentrated commodity production areas, applied science and technology, and standardized from varieties to production processes and product harvesting. The province has also promoted digital transformation, mechanization, automation and the application of science and technology in agricultural production.
The province has also effectively implemented the restructuring plan of the agricultural sector, issued policies to develop key provincial products, organic agricultural products, and local specialties in a concentrated manner, linking production to consumption. Hoa Binh prioritizes clean agricultural production, meeting VietGAP, GlobalGAP, ISO standards, ensuring food safety and plant quarantine. The province also encourages the development of specialized production cooperatives, connecting with processing and consumption enterprises.
At the same time, Hoa Binh focuses on investing in infrastructure, logistics and consumer markets to support agricultural development. The province actively supports and improves the production organization capacity of cooperatives, connecting cooperatives with producers, processing and product consumption enterprises. Hoa Binh also strengthens state management of agricultural materials and food safety, allocating adequate resources for quality certification and trade promotion activities.
In particular, Hoa Binh focuses on exploiting the potential of the Da River reservoir area, known as "Ha Long Bay on land", to develop aquaculture and eco-tourism in parallel.
In addition, Hoa Binh promotes clean aquaculture according to VietGAP standards, aiming to build codes for aquaculture areas for export. The province conserves and develops specialty fish species, applies improved aquaculture technology, and proactively adapts to climate change. Hoa Binh also develops aquaculture for ornamental purposes, urban entertainment, and tourist areas, encourages and supports the development of aquaculture associated with tourism, educational activities, ecotourism, and experiential sightseeing.
In addition, Hoa Binh develops tourism based on the majestic natural landscape of the lake, combined with visiting aquaculture activities and experiencing local cuisine. The province builds eco-resorts, community tourism areas along the lake and organizes festivals and cultural events to promote tourism in the Da River lake.
The 2nd Da River Fish and Shrimp Festival in Hoa Binh Province, held within the framework of the 2024 Provincial Culture - Tourism Week, is also one of the activities to improve the efficiency of the aquaculture and seafood processing industry associated with the development of eco-tourism. At the same time, it stimulates tourism development, attracts and expands the domestic and foreign tourist market to Hoa Binh Province; promotes the development of the seafood industry and products from Da River fish and shrimp; promotes and affirms copyrighted brands associated with agricultural products as the ownership of the two specialty brands "Da River Shrimp Hoa Binh" and "Da River Fish Hoa Binh". Thereby building the image of the Da River fish and shrimp capital to become one of the key economic sectors of the province.
With competitive advantages, clear development strategies and synchronous solutions, Hoa Binh is on the way to building a clean, sustainable and high-quality agriculture, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province and the whole country.
