Coach Kiatisuk said at the contract signing ceremony: "I am very honored to be at the Hanoi Police Club to receive the position of head coach.
With quality players, along with the current champion status, I want to develop the club, with the goal of bringing the team into the top 3 of V-League or further, winning a ticket to the AFC Champions League, facing strong teams from Japan, Korea and Saudi Arabia.
We can have more fans, attract supporters from other provinces and cities, and have more fans from Southeast Asian countries in general and Thailand in particular.
I am grateful for the trust that the club has given me and want to encourage the whole team to play their best. When we play well, the club will have a large number of fans. Our achievements are the club's gift to the fans."
Regarding the style of play that will be built for the team, former coach Hoang Anh Gia Lai said: "Hanoi Police Club will build a beautiful style of play and aim for 3 points, have achievements, develop and nurture young players for the Vietnam team, join hands to develop the capital's football, and reach out to the international arena.
I used to lead the Thai team and became the coach of the Hanoi Police Club, which is like leading a miniature Vietnam team, where there are many national team players.
The players and I will be 100% focused on the club. I will try to help the club play well in both attack and defense, play comprehensively and improve overall. We understand the club's goals and will do our best to achieve them.
Each coach has his own philosophy. I want Hanoi Police Club to play beautifully, skillfully, and attract more fans. Winning or losing is not important, but playing beautifully to attract more fans. Hanoi Police Club players already have quality."
Coming to Hanoi Police, Coach Kiatisuk affirmed that he does not feel pressure because the team has many stars and will help them play better. The Thai coach especially wants to help Quang Hai return to his peak form.
Coach Kiatisuk expressed his determination: "I want Quang Hai to be more famous, not only in Southeast Asia but also in many other countries. I want to develop him to play enough matches, play the full 90 minutes, and upgrade his skills.
Not only Quang Hai, I want other Hanoi Police Club players to develop more comprehensively and become more famous."
Regarding Hanoi Police's championship goal, Coach Kiatisuk said: "Every coach wants to win the V-League. In 2021, when my Hoang Anh Gia Lai was leading the table, the tournament was canceled due to the epidemic.
I want to bring Hanoi Police Club to win the V-League or further to go deep in the AFC Champions League, playing 'equally' with strong teams. That's the reason I left Hoang Anh Gia Lai to come here."
After signing the contract, Coach Kiatisukl made his debut for the Hanoi Police Club when he welcomed Ho Chi Minh City Club at Hang Day Stadium in round 9 of the V-League on February 18.
