Hanoi After Binh Duong lost 0-3 in round 8 of V-League, coach Le Huynh Duc said that CAHN played completely differently and more positively after firing coach Gong Oh-kyun.
After four matches of draws and losses, CAHN decided to part ways with coach Gong and appointed Technical Director Tran Tien Dai to take temporary charge. Facing a team in high form, the defending champion still played impressively, winning 3-0 despite being one man down from the 62nd minute due to Junior Jani's red card.
CAHN opened the scoring in the 16th minute thanks to Junior Jani's overhead kick. In the 54th minute, Nguyen Quang Hai doubled the gap with a curling shot from outside the penalty area. In the 85th minute, substitute Ho Tan Tai tapped the ball into the net from close range, sealing the score for CAHN.

When asked about the changes in opponent CAHN after changing coaches, coach Le Huynh Duc commented: "CAHN's players are still the same, but they have completely changed. The players play with more determination."
According to the coach from Ho Chi Minh City, CAHN is stronger and has better players, but he also believes that Binh Duong - the team that just made a strong impression with two consecutive home victories against Nam Dinh and Thanh Hoa - lost because of external conditions and themselves. He said: "Binh Duong only had four days off, and had to go out here in the cold. The players were not used to the pitch, the ball moved fast, leading to many wrong passes. Binh Duong also entered the game in the wrong way. We had two or three chances but could not take advantage of them."
In this match, CAHN coach Tran Tien Dai did not hold a press conference because he received a red card for his reaction. After the match, when asked about this incident, assistant Azmin Aziz said: "That's football, I can't say anything."
Mr. Dai will only take temporary charge in the match against Binh Duong, before handing over his seat to coach Mano Polking, who will sign a contract and debut on January 5, 2024. When asked about CAHN's complete change after changing the coach, Mr. Aziz also answered briefly: "This is football, right person, right time".
Mr. Aziz has been assigned by CAHN to answer post-match interviews many times and always has a familiar phrase like "cannot answer this question because not authorized".
Defeating Binh Duong, CAHN has 12 points, four points behind the top of the table Nam Dinh but has played one more match. After this round, the Night Wolf V-League 2023-2024 national championship will take a two-month break for the team to participate in the 2023 Asian Cup.
