Hanoi Police Football Club signs cooperation agreement with Lion City Sailors

(Dan Tri) - Hanoi Police Club (CAHNFC) and Lion City Sailors (LCS) announced their cooperation, contributing to promoting comprehensive relations and enhancing exchanges between Vietnam and Singapore.

The highlight of the partnership will be an international friendly in 2025, bringing together two of the region’s top football clubs in an event that celebrates sports and friendship, while affirming the deep and growing relationship between Singapore and Vietnam across all areas.

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of Singapore's Independence Day and the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the friendly match was held in the context of the increasingly deepening bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Singapore with the upgrading of relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership this month.

The cooperation between Lion City Sailors Club and Hanoi Police Club demonstrates the two clubs' shared aspiration to promote regional cohesion through football, making sports a bridge, contributing to promoting relations between the two countries.

Both clubs will also look to collaborate and share expertise in youth development.

Expressing his joy about the cooperation, Mr. Forrest Li, Chairman of Lion City Sailors Club, emphasized that football has the power to transcend borders, connecting people of the two countries together.

He hopes that the cooperation event with the Hanoi Police Club will aim to commemorate important historical milestones of the two countries. The match is not only an opportunity for football talents to show their class, but also an occasion to honor the strong relationship between Singapore and Vietnam.
