In recent days, infrastructure projects serving the pilot implementation of Bach Dang walking street and night tourism on Nguyen Van Troi bridge are being urgently completed by management units. Both of these pilot projects are located along the poetic Han River and connected by Nguyen Van Troi bridge. Located at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge (Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son districts), the People's Committee of Da Nang City is implementing a pilot project for night tourism products on Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and the park on the east bank of this bridge. Mr. Huynh Van Hung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tra District (the unit assigned to manage), said that so far, the renovation items have been completed and there are plans to deploy activities scheduled for May 31. According to the People's Committee of Son Tra District, the unit has been renovating the campus, cleaning weeds and garbage in the Han River area adjacent to the park on the east bank of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge. The district has completed the "colorful road" check-in point on the road leading to Nguyen Van Troi Bridge. The management unit also planted and replaced some trees in the campus on the east bank of Nguyen Van Troi Bridge. The campus area also has a stage installed to serve the activities here. The construction unit also installed decorative frames of conical hats, pinwheels, and lanterns to create check-in spots for tourists. Son Tra District People's Committee directed the construction unit to arrange enough trash cans at the tourist site and fix the trash cans to avoid falling and causing loss of aesthetics. Nguyen Van Troi Bridge will connect Bach Dang walking street (Hai Chau district) and the night tourism route on the bridge, the east bank of the bridge belongs to Son Tra district. Bach Dang walking street is located on Bach Dang street, extending from the intersection with the road leading to Tran Thi Ly bridge to the end of APEC Park, with a length of more than 1km.
In recent days, workers have been actively constructing items, speeding up progress so that the street can soon be put into operation as planned. According to records, Hai Chau District People's Committee has completed the work of marking parking lines for vending vehicles, completed the work of processing directional signs and traffic signs, erected a signboard with the content "Bach Dang Walking Street"... It is expected that the walking street will have 3 clusters of mobile stalls with 12 stalls on the entire sidewalk east of Bach Dang Street. At the same time, there will be 5 clusters of mobile sales vehicles with 15 vehicles on the east lane, the vehicle positions are interspersed with each other. Checking the progress of the walking street, Mr. Dinh Quang Cuong, Deputy Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that he has proposed that the People's Committee of Hai Chau District direct the construction units to add more human resources to try to carry out the remaining items in order to complete the project on schedule, which is May 31. To operate Bach Dang walking street, according to the plan, Da Nang will use 1 lane on the east side of Bach Dang street on weekdays, the remaining 3 lanes will be one-way, with signs indicating a speed limit of 40km/h per hour and restricting motor vehicles by hour. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, vehicles will be banned from the entire Bach Dang street, from Binh Minh 10 street to APEC Park. Hai Chau district will also put security cameras into operation on this street. The pilot project to organize Bach Dang walking street along the Han River is expected to be a new tourism service product, a nighttime entertainment spot, creating a unique and impressive space for domestic and foreign tourists.
