Helldivers 2 release has been delayed until February next year

Specifically, Sony and developer Arrowhead Studios just provided a more detailed look at the game at the State of Play presentation that took place on September 15, along with the revelation that both companies also announced the delay of Helldivers 2 until early next year, specifically on February 8, 2024.

In the new footage released by Sony, it shows that players will be immersed in a fierce battle with a huge and terrifying enemy, called the Bile Titan. Many players will work together to take down this enemy. During the fight, players will experience many processes and unlock other activities in the game.

Developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, the third-person co-op shooter is a sequel to Helldivers , which was first released in 2015 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Vita platforms. Inspired by the sci-fi military setting of the film Starship Troopers, Helldivers also became Sony's first title to be released on PC later that year.

Helldivers 2 is scheduled to launch for platforms such as PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam). Pre-orders for the game will open on September 22.
