Highlights from international brand hotels and resorts
In the Vietnamese real estate market, BIM Land is among the few developers capable of meeting the strict and professional standards of international resort brands. BIM Land is currently a priority partner of the world's leading hotel management groups such as: InterContinental Hotels & Resorts (IHG), Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Sailing Club Leisure Group, The Ascott, Frasers Property Group... The list of cooperation projects includes up to 11 hotels and resorts under 8 international brands, located in potential tourist destinations such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Phu Quoc, Vinh Phuc, Laos.
To date, BIM Land has put into operation 6 projects including: Fraser Suites Hanoi (Hanoi), Crowne Plaza Vientiane (Vientiane, Laos), InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort, Regent Phu Quoc, Saling Club Signature Resort Phu Quoc (Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang), Citadines Marina Halong (Ha Long City, Quang Ninh). In the context of the Vietnamese hotel industry facing many challenges, the recovery process is uneven, statistics from these hotels and resorts are showing positive highlights.
Since the beginning of the year, BIM Land's hotels and resorts have recorded a 71% growth in revenue per available room (RevPAR), higher than their direct competitors (58% growth). Other key indicators such as revenue generation index (RGI) and market penetration index (MPI) have recorded much higher levels than fair share. The number of rooms sold increased by 30% compared to the same period last year, double the growth in the number of international and domestic overnight guests nationwide (up 16% compared to the same period).
These results reflect the general development trend of the international luxury resort segment with a target customer group of high spending. This segment has a competitive advantage thanks to its global network, world-class service standards, and a loyalty program with a scale of up to hundreds of millions of users.
In the first quarter of 2024 alone, members participating in the IHG One Rewards program accounted for a significant proportion of the group's total revenue: 33% for Crowne Plaza Vientiane, 41% for InterContinental Phu Quoc, and 63% for Regent Phu Quoc. These statistics partly show the attractiveness of resorts in Vietnam developed by BIM Land on IHG's global luxury tourism map.
Vietnam tourism representative reaches international level
Not only impressing with business indicators, BIM Land's hotels and resorts also win the sympathy of the media and international tourism awards.
After 2 years of opening, Regent Phu Quoc regularly represents Vietnamese tourism in prestigious international rankings such as: list of 11 most impressive natural hotels in Asia introduced by Michelin Guide, Top 6 best beach hotels in the world 2022 (Independent), Top 8 most famous new hotels in Vietnam 2022 (CNN)...
With impressive room options and facilities to meet all family needs, InterContinental Phu Quoc has won the category of “Asia’s Best Luxury Family Resort” at the World Travel Awards for 5 consecutive years (2019 - 2023).
This is the place that was chosen to host the "super wedding" of a couple from India, lasting 3 days on an unprecedented scale on the pearl island. Also in Phu Quoc, BIM Land owns Sailing Club Signature Resort Phu Quoc, a rare resort that welcomes pets and is loved by international tourists.
In the North, the heritage city of Ha Long is a destination that gathers a series of hotels and resorts with international brands of BIM Land. Here, after 2 years of operation, Citadines Marina Halong has won many major awards and been recognized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism as a 5-star hotel.
It is expected that by the end of this year, the InterContinental Halong Bay Resort & Residences - the first InterContinental-branded coastal resort in the Northern market - will officially open.
Also highly anticipated is the Sailing Club Residences Halong Bay project - the first resort branded Sailing Club in Ha Long, expected to open in 2025. The appearance of this duo of resorts promises to mark a new development in the cooperation strategy with international hotel brands that BIM Land has pursued for 3 decades.
