The Hanoi Department of Transport has just proposed that the City People's Committee direct the Hanoi Metro Company Limited to urgently recruit the missing personnel and ensure the capacity of the staff directly involved in the operation.
Hanoi Metro also needs to increase on-site support forces, coordinate promptly with contractors and related units so that when an incident occurs, normal operations can be restored as soon as possible.

Strengthen coordination between contractors to ensure high response levels when necessary, promptly update, review and adjust operating procedures, regularly check and train on hypothetical incidents to improve the proficiency of operating staff.
Before the 25th of each month, Hanoi Metro reports on train operation and safety for the Department to synthesize and report to the City People's Committee.
The Hanoi Department of Transport also recommended that the City People's Committee request the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board - MRB (investor) to direct the contractor UJV to replace the 220VAC-110VDC power converter at the RIS3 remote isolation switchboard according to warranty regulations; ensure that no power outages occur, and report on completion of the work before November 15.
Previously, at 5:25 p.m. on October 24, the elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway had to stop due to a technical problem at Cau Giay Station. By 6:15 p.m., the problem had been resolved. 6 trains were delayed and 8 trains had to be canceled due to the problem.
According to the report of the parties involved, the cause of the incident was determined by the contractor UJV within 5 minutes.
However, at the time of the incident, the operating unit had no personnel on duty. The contractor's technical team had to travel 5km from the depot to station 5 and it took 30 minutes to reach the station 5 technical room to handle the incident.
Regarding the main cause, according to the report of contractor UJV, the 220VAC-110VDC power converter at the remote isolation switchboard (RIS3) at Cau Giay station had a problem (this is a temporary power converter when the underground construction has not been completed).
