Handing over houses to households in difficult circumstances in Nghia Trung commune

Mrs. Tran Thi Lac is a near-poor household with difficult circumstances. She earns a living by selling lottery tickets. Her son is a freelancer and does not have a stable job. Due to difficult circumstances and not being able to build a house of his own, for many years, the mother and son have had to temporarily live at her parents' house. A solid roof that can protect her from the sun and rain has been her wish for many years. Understanding that, the Editorial Board of Quang Ngai Newspaper has mobilized BIDV Dung Quat Trade Union to support funding to help Mrs. Lac build a new house.

(Baoquangngai.vn)- Quang Ngai Newspaper in coordination with the Trade Union of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development - Dung Quat Branch ( BIDV Dung Quat), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tu Nghia district and the People's Committee of Nghia Trung commune organized the inauguration and handover of the house to the family of Ms. Tran Thi Lac (63 years old), in La Chau village, Nghia Trung commune (Tu Nghia).
Attending the handover ceremony on the afternoon of April 10 were Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Ha Hoang Trieu; representative of BIDV Dung Quat Trade Union; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tu Nghia district; leaders of the People's Committee of Nghia Trung commune and leaders of associations and unions in Tu Nghia district and Nghia Trung commune.

After a month of construction, Ms. Lac's house was completed, bringing her great joy. The new house cost a total of 185 million VND, of which, Quang Ngai Newspaper mobilized BIDV Dung Quat Trade Union to support 60 million VND; the remaining amount was contributed by Ms. Lac's relatives and family.

Chairman of Nghia Trung Commune People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh said that, implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Nghia Trung Commune aims to build and repair 9 houses for people with difficult housing circumstances. Thanks to the attention and support of Quang Ngai Newspaper, the financial contribution of BIDV Dung Quat Trade Union, and philanthropists, agencies, units and enterprises, the commune has helped people with difficult circumstances in the commune to build new and repair temporary and dilapidated houses. Currently, the commune is focusing on directing the work of supporting people to build new and repair houses, striving to complete the set plan.
