Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ngai City Party Committee Ngo Van Trong, together with leaders of the Quang Ngai City People's Committee and functional departments of the city, have just conducted a field inspection of the Hoang Sa - Doc Soi Road project through Quang Ngai City and the Investment project to build an anti-erosion embankment combined with creating land fund on the North bank of Tra Khuc River, through Tinh An and Tinh Long communes and through Tinh Long and Tinh Khe communes to urge construction progress and disbursement of public investment capital.
The Hoang Sa - Doc Soi Road Project has a route length of 7.36km through Quang Ngai City. The total land acquisition area is about 430,000 square meters of 780 households and 6 organizations, with more than 1,400 plots of land. To date, the inventory work has been basically completed, reaching 99.4% of the area.
Quang Ngai City People's Committee has approved 13 compensation plans, including 214 households and 1 organization, with 287 land plots on an area of over 6.3 hectares, reaching nearly 15%. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center is listing the proposed plans on an area of about 31.5 hectares and will submit for approval to complete in April 2025.
There are still about 5.2 hectares of land facing problems, not enough basis to develop a plan. The City People's Committee has directed the People's Committees of communes to coordinate with the compensation units to continue processing and completing procedures to be eligible to develop a plan in May 2025 and complete approval in June 2025.

The project to invest in building an anti-erosion embankment combined with creating a land fund on the North bank of Tra Khuc River, through Tinh An and Tinh Long communes (Quang Ngai city) has an area of over 47 hectares. The goal is to build an anti-erosion embankment and a land fund for auction to generate revenue for the budget. The total investment is 230 billion VND from the province's land use fee revenue. The project implementation period is from 2023 to 2025.
The total volume of site clearance work for the entire project is 200 households with 949 plots of land on an area of over 47 hectares. Currently, the City People's Committee has approved 2 land compensation plans managed by the Commune People's Committee, with a total approved area of over 11 hectares, reaching 24% with 191 plots.
The project to invest in building an anti-erosion embankment combined with creating a land fund on the North bank of Tra Khuc River, through Tinh Long and Tinh Khe communes, has a total investment of 180 billion VND. The implementation period is from 2023 to 2025. The project will clear 170 households and organizations with 218 plots of land on an area of nearly 17 hectares. It is expected that 7 households will have to be relocated and resettled at Ruong Ngo Resettlement Area, Tinh Long commune.
After inspecting the projects, Secretary of the City Party Committee Ngo Van Trong discussed and requested leaders of relevant communes and wards, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai City and investors to specifically report on difficulties in the implementation process. At the same time, he directed to remove some obstacles within his authority.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee requested the city's specialized agencies and the People's Committees of communes to urgently coordinate with investors to complete documents, develop compensation and site clearance plans for approval in accordance with regulations; strive to complete site clearance work before June 30 to speed up construction progress and disbursement of public investment capital in 2025.
