Video: Horrified by being forced to inject into model's face after 1 hour of apprenticeship
In the role of a spa owner in need of importing goods, we contacted the Facebook page Fibo Global - Botox Filler Warehouse previously introduced by "teacher" Pham Le Huyen Dieu.
In the description of the Fibo Global Facebook page, the website fiboglobal.vn is pinned prominently. According to information from the website, Fibo Global introduces itself as a member of Fibo Global Import Export Joint Stock Company, a wholesale warehouse of fillers and botox with genuine products, competitive prices and nationwide shipping code.
Although the company's hotline number and email were fully pinned, this business "forgot" to update the address.
Message the Fibo Global Facebook page and say you want to buy, five or seven times, Fibo Global staff used many reasons to encourage us to buy online. The goods will be delivered to your door, free shipping.
However, we still insisted on going to the store for direct consultation.
An address, with a specific house number on Street No. 3 (Ward 3, Tam Phu Ward, Thu Duc City) was sent to us by a consultant. The staff said that this was the store address, but it was quite far from the center, we should consider moving.
After about 1 hour of going around Tam Phu ward many times, we found the house number as instructed by Fibo Global staff.
The “store” as described by Fibo Global staff is actually a row of dormitories for working people located in a small alley. We were greeted by Trang, about 20 years old, holding many small boxes labeled filler and botox.
“This is my rented room, I share it with a friend, I can’t go in,” the young girl said, signaling us to stand on the side of the road so we could talk.
According to Trang, Fibo Global does not have a specific store. All fillers and botox distributed to the market are sold online: Order and purchase online. She herself is also a sales associate, although she sells a large quantity, she is not allowed to go to the warehouse.
“I heard the warehouse is somewhere on the edge of the city, probably Binh Duong. We don’t know either, it’s very secretive. When we import goods, they deliver them to us. If anyone wants to come directly like you, they just have to send us their home address,” Trang said.
Having said that, Trang displayed boxes of fillers and botox of all kinds on the street for us to see. With a price of only 160 thousand VND/box, fillers are scattered for sale like bunches of vegetables in the market...
“Everyone told you the price, right? There are many prices, all kinds of prices. If you need to inject the model, just take the cheapest one, but this one is also good, big beauty salons often buy from me,” Trang said honestly.
To “show off” her achievements, Trang opened a Facebook page for a beauty salon called A. Aesthetic Institute, which has a blue tick and hundreds of thousands of followers, and said that this is the unit that has been importing her goods for nearly a year.
“I know the manager here, if the price is good, he/she will inform and the boss will approve the import. Each time they import, they take several hundred million, so they get a good discount,” Trang said while showing us the import and transfer information of A Beauty Salon.
After paying for 2 bottles of botox, we asked Trang to introduce us as sales collaborators, because she already had quite a few "connections".
Without any doubt, Trang enthusiastically gave us the Zalo information of the “boss” named Phi Hung. According to Trang, Phi Hung currently lives in Korea. In a business group, Hung is the contact person who sends goods from Korea to Vietnam and then distributes them.
Thanks to Trang’s introduction, it was not difficult for us to talk to this “boss” of filler and botox sources. However, finding the “den” seemed impossible.
Through Zalo, we texted Hung, expressing our desire to import goods in large quantities. Seeing the lucrative “prey”, Hung immediately called back.
"How much do you want to import? I will support you with a good price this time," Hung said.

However, to get a good price, we have to “hold” the goods. With dozens of types of fillers and botox, to become a wholesaler, we have to import 100 boxes or more of each type. For cheap types like Eloha, we have to import from 50 million VND or more.
A normal wholesaler, when importing goods, will import from 3-5 types, the price for each import will range from 150 million VND to billions of VND.
We agreed with Hung to import 100 boxes of Chaeum botox (56 million VND) and 300 boxes of Eloha filler (48 million VND), the total order is 104 million VND. Saying that we need the goods urgently, we asked for the warehouse address to come and pick them up directly.
However, Hung's answer surprised us: "No, we can't go to the warehouse! I'll ship it directly to you from Korea to Ho Chi Minh City, we can't go to the warehouse, and why would we go to the warehouse?"
Despite Hung's answer, we still insisted on going to the warehouse to take photos and support the sales promotion. However, Hung found many reasons to refuse.
In order not to lose our “prey”, Hung made guarantees such as: Having clear import documents for hand-carried goods, goods always checked to have codes with Korean and English characters, being able to get images from the company for advertising… In addition, home delivery is clearly beneficial for us.
“Before now, I have delivered both wholesale and retail, but the company's regulations do not allow me to go to the warehouse. I ship directly from Korea to you, it's like you import directly, the original source, there's nothing better," Hung added.
With a huge amount of money, the "boss" insisted on only transacting online, not revealing any information about the warehouse facility in Vietnam. This makes us skeptical about the origin of the products Fibo Global is providing: Are the filler and botox boxes labeled in English and Korean really produced at a quality, licensed facility abroad?
Guarantees are given entirely over the phone, buyers and sellers do not know each other, and the origin of the goods cannot be verified. However, every day, Fibo Global still distributes thousands of boxes of fillers and botox to the market.
After reaching the beauty salon owners, these substances that have not been tested for safety are pumped onto customers' faces.
Besides the careless practice of those who wear white coats and call themselves doctors, is this also one of the reasons why "accidents" continuously occur in this beauty industry?!
Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Chuyen, Lecturer of Dermatology Department - University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, Head of Dermatology & Aesthetic Dermatology Unit - Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital said that there are many types of fillers and botox.
Currently, many facilities are allowed to provide filler and botox injection services, but must ensure the standards prescribed by law. In particular, standards on product origin certification and medical equipment registration licenses are the most basic requirements.
Genuine, licensed fillers and botox must be distributed by reputable companies licensed by the competent authorities. The company must have a headquarters and public warehouse; the product must have a clear origin and a standard preservation process, so the price is not cheap.
“Cheap products of unknown origin often have the risk of impurities and are not properly preserved, so their quality is not guaranteed. This leads to the risk of allergic reactions, granulomatous reactions, and the risk of infection... Therefore, service users need to be alert in choosing a reputable place to avoid complications and ensure safety in taking care of their health and beauty,” said Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Chuyen.
