Among the 34 members of the Lancet Global Health Commission on universal access to patient-centered care, there are two representatives from the Vietnam Young Physicians Association.
On October 11, the Vietnam Young Physicians Association announced that Harvard Medical School (USA) has just announced a list of 34 global members and 15 advisors participating in the "Lancet Global Health Commission on Universal Access to Health Care with Patient-Centered Care".

The committee was established by Harvard Medical School and the Center for Primary Health Care. Its members are experts in a variety of fields around the world, including health care management, policy making, research, civil society, and private sector partners.
Among the 34 members, there are two representatives of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association: Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health), Chairman of the Association; and Prof. Dr. Tran Xuan Bach, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association.

It is known that the Vietnam Young Physicians Association is a member organization of the Vietnam Youth Union. This is a voluntary social and professional organization of young Vietnamese physicians striving for the development of the young physician force and the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health.
The Vietnam Young Physicians Association aims to unite and gather young Vietnamese physicians at home and abroad, contributing to fostering and promoting the potential, knowledge and efforts of young physicians striving for the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health.
Mr. Ha Anh Duc was born in 1973, from Hai Phong, graduated as a general practitioner from Hanoi Medical University in 1996; Bachelor of Foreign Languages from Foreign Language University, Hanoi National University in 1998; Bachelor of Economics from National Economics University in 2000; Master of International Health Population, Harvard University in 2004; Doctor of Public Health, Boston University in 2010.
Mr. Ha Anh Duc has held many positions at the Ministry of Health: Deputy Head of Department, Head of General Department - Office of the Ministry of Health; Secretary of the Minister of Health; Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Health; Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Health and Chief of Office of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Health; Chairman of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union; Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ministry's Party Committee.
He is currently the Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health. Mr. Ha Anh Duc has received many awards such as Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister and Minister of Health.

Professor Tran Xuan Bach graduated from the University of Public Health with a degree in Medicine in 2006. After many efforts, Tran Xuan Bach finally received a doctorate in public health, specializing in health policy and health services at the University of Alberta (Canada) in 2011.
In 2016, Tran Xuan Bach was recognized as Associate Professor. At that time, Tran Xuan Bach was known as the youngest Associate Professor in Vietnam at the age of 32. In 2019, Tran Xuan Bach was appointed as an Adjunct Professor by Johns Hopkins University (USA), becoming one of the youngest professors at this prestigious university.
Tran Xuan Bach has won many prestigious awards such as: Award for Best Doctoral Research Report at INSIGHT Public Health Science Conference, University of Alberta in 2010; Alberta Innovates – Health Solutions Canada Award 2012; International Clinical and Prevention Research Award from AIDS Research Center, Johns Hopkins University in 2015...
In addition, Prof. Tran Xuan Bach also received 3 Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for Awards at the Science and Technology Conference for Youth of Vietnam Medical and Pharmaceutical Universities: Excellent Prize (2004), Third Prize (2012), Second Prize (2016). He is the Young Leader of World Health in 2014 of the International Federation of Academies.
Tran Xuan Bach is the winner of the Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces Award in 2016. In the same year, Tran Xuan Bach became the representative of 20 young scientists of the world of IAP to attend the World Health Assembly in Geneva (Switzerland).
Professor Tran Xuan Bach also received the Outstanding Young Vietnamese Physician Award in 2017; the Golden Globe Science and Technology Award in 2018. In 2019, this young professor was elected as a member of the executive board of the Global Young Scientists Academy (GYA) under the German National Academy (Leopoldina).
Professor Tran Xuan Bach is also the first Vietnamese scientist to receive the Noam Chomsky Award - Shining Star for achievements in research in 2020.
One year later, Professor Tran Xuan Bach was listed among 28 Vietnamese scientists working in Vietnam in the ranking of the top 100,000 most influential scientists in the world and was a scientist in the top 1% most influential worldwide through Clarivate's scientific citations in 2022.
Also in this year, he was awarded the Second Prize by the Asia-Pacific Economic Forum (APEC) for his research on Healthy Women - Healthy Economy.
In 2023, the State Council of Professors awarded Associate Professor Tran Xuan Bach as one of the three youngest faces to meet the standards for the title of Professor.
