Two international border gates in Quang Tri receive the first shipment of the year of the Dragon

On the morning of February 10 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), at Lao Bao International Border Gate, the first two enterprises completed procedures to import goods through the gate.

During Tet, import and export goods are few, so customs clearance of 2 shipments was handled quickly by officers of Lao Bao Border Gate Customs Branch.

Of which, Hoi Tien Phat Import Export Company Limited alone imported 360 tons of raw sugar and paid 599 million VND in tax.

At La Lay International Border Gate, in the afternoon of the same day, ATVN Company Limited imported a batch of fresh cassava tubers with a total weight of 240 tons...

From the beginning of 2024 to February 6, at La Lay International Border Gate, the number of vehicles leaving the country was 4,178, entering the country was 9,993; export turnover was 10.369 million USD, import turnover was 16.022 million USD. Tax collected was 22.424 billion VND, tax on coal alone was 12.164 billion VND.

It is known that in 2023, La Lay International Border Gate was a bright spot in Quang Tri province, when the total import-export turnover of goods through here reached 261 million USD, the total state budget revenue was more than 574 billion VND, an increase of 188% compared to 2022. Of which, the budget revenue from coal imports alone reached over 500 billion VND.
