"Oh Ha Tinh, deep affection"

That song silently echoed in the hearts of those who attended the meeting on the morning of November 12 between provincial leaders and outstanding Ha Tinh students in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Tinh businessmen in the southern provinces. In their personal and common thoughts about their homeland, each person sowed within themselves seeds of love, hope, and was filled with aspiration and responsibility to contribute and build their homeland and country with a new image of Ha Tinh people...

Multiply the pride

The meeting was held in Ho Chi Minh City.

For the first time, Ha Tinh province and the Southern Ha Tinh Business Association organized a large-scale meeting to connect generations of compatriots in the southern provinces, with more than 500 delegates attending.

The program aims to create opportunities for exchange and meeting for outstanding Ha Tinh youth and students in Ho Chi Minh City and successful Ha Tinh entrepreneurs and children in the Southern region. Thereby, providing information, introducing jobs, connecting high-quality human resources with businesses. Emotion, honor, and pride are the mixed emotions of each delegate when attending this special meeting program.

Outstanding students have the opportunity to meet and exchange at the program.

Early in the morning, young people, students and hundreds of businessmen from Ha Tinh from Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc... were present at the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Hall. The sounds of "chi, mo, rang, rua" resounded loudly in a place thousands of kilometers away from home like red dots marking the affection of the homeland. Covering the meeting atmosphere were tight handshakes, bright smiles, full of hometown love, making the space even warmer and more affectionate.

This program of meeting with outstanding Ha Tinh youth and students in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Tinh businessmen in the South was honored to welcome leaders of some central ministries and branches, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, leaders of provincial departments and branches, and especially the participation of generations of Ha Tinh people who became famous in the southern land of the Fatherland.

Stories of overcoming difficulties inspire young people and students.

Continuing the fine tradition of the land of Hong Mountain and La River, generations of Ha Tinh people today have made constant efforts. Right at the meeting program, stories of overcoming difficulties and rising up of many generations of Ha Tinh people in the journey to seek opportunities across the country were exchanged and shared, highlighting the tradition of studiousness, solidarity, mutual love and affection; inspiring the youth and students.

The program also created a forum for young people and students to express their pride in their homeland's traditions and previous generations; share their aspirations and determination to continue their homeland's traditions; send to provincial leaders creative ideas and recommendations on some policy contents, and express their desire to contribute to their homeland...

Vo Thi Xuan, from Can Loc district - a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, expressed: “Orphaned by both parents, living with my uncle's family, I once thought I would not have the opportunity to go to university, but fortunately, I received support from the Hong Lam Scholarship Fund with 10 million VND per semester. I was very touched to receive the attention of the provincial leaders and philanthropists. And today, attending this meeting, I feel like I have more support, more motivation to strive in the upcoming journey. I will always try to study, practice and hope that in the future I will be able to find a suitable job position in my hometown”.

Joy, pride, and emotion also multiplied in the hearts of each delegate participating in the program. Many plans to connect, promote, and accompany the young generation of Ha Tinh people were shared in the warm reunion of homeland love.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Council of Hanoi University of Science and Technology shared: “Participating in both meetings of provincial leaders and outstanding Ha Tinh students from both ends of the country this year, I feel that this is a very meaningful and necessary activity. The meeting will open up new directions for students in their studies and ideals of dedication to their homeland and country. I, as well as many delegates participating in the program, wish to contribute to inspiring, motivating, and believing in students and actively connecting to create many opportunities for students in their studies and contributions.”

The program connecting and exchanging generations of fellow countrymen, the meeting program organized by the province this time has provided strength, given confidence, and fostered new aspirations so that Ha Tinh children, wherever they are, can contribute to their homeland and country and spread the image and values of Ha Tinh people. Job introduction booths are jointly organized by the Southern Ha Tinh Business Association and the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union.

One of the special impressions of this meeting program was the appearance of job introduction booths from Ha Tinh businessmen in the southern provinces. The professions of insurance, finance - banking, construction... with many opportunities to demonstrate talent and intelligence were introduced to Ha Tinh youth and students in Ho Chi Minh City. These are job opportunities, openings that successful businessmen from Ha Tinh in the southern provinces bring to their hometown's children.

Ms. Thai Van - Operations Department (Onefin Vietnam Joint Stock Company) shared: "Our job booth in the field of finance - banking is approached by many young people. Through the exchange, I realized that the students are very capable, confident, and eager to learn... I believe that, from initial information like this, the company will find new personnel to meet the job requirements".

The Ha Tinh community in all directions is growing stronger and has a common heart towards the homeland. It is not only a support for Ha Tinh youth in the process of studying and starting a career, but also a valuable internal resource, together with the Party Committee, government and people of the whole province to build Ha Tinh to develop sustainably.

Chairman of the Southern Ha Tinh Business Association Nguyen Phi Dan said: “We will continue to overcome difficulties, build the association stronger and stronger, becoming a “common home” for Ha Tinh businesses in the South; at the same time, it is a link connecting the Ha Tinh business community with the home province, creating a premise for building and connecting the Ha Tinh business community in all regions of the country. The Association will always accompany social security activities and the common development of the homeland”.

At this large and warm connection, information about the changes of the province, the province's policies in attracting investment, attracting high-quality human resources and many opportunities for young people to contribute to their homeland were also conveyed to the young people.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Trung Dung shared in depth about the cultural traditions, history, and people of Ha Tinh through the periods; information about the socio-economic development situation of the province as well as job opportunities right in the province for young students to approach and choose. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also asked businessmen and enterprises to continue to accompany and create more job opportunities for children of the homeland.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that every young person, student, businessman and fellow countryman of Ha Tinh, wherever they are and whatever they are doing, will always spread the good image of Ha Tinh culture and people to friends everywhere, act as a bridge, help the province attract investment to improve the material and spiritual life of the people; strive to make positive contributions to the development of the homeland and the country.

The program to meet outstanding Ha Tinh youth and students in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Tinh businessmen in the South has joined hands imbued with love so that each Ha Tinh person can go far on their own paths, with their own ambitions, together creating a Ha Tinh outside Ha Tinh that is constantly developing. From there, contributing to spreading the good traditions of the homeland and receiving the cultural quintessence of the regions, creating a more comprehensive new Ha Tinh person, contributing and dedicating more to the journey of innovation and integration of the province.
