Ha Tinh disburses funds for land acquisition for the North-South expressway

Up to this point, the disbursement progress of the site clearance fund for the North-South expressway project in Ha Tinh is 2,173.94 billion VND, reaching 76.86%.

Ha Tinh disbursed nearly 77% of the North-South expressway site clearance costs

The North-South Eastern Expressway project phase 2021 - 2025 through Ha Tinh is under construction.

The North-South Eastern Expressway Project in the 2021-2025 period through Ha Tinh province has a length of 102.38 km with 3 component projects: Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang, Vung Ang - Bung. In addition, the province will also build 3 expressway connecting routes with a length of 12.18 km.

To carry out the site clearance work for the national key project, the Ministry of Transport has allocated a budget of VND2,853.43 billion for Ha Tinh. According to Deputy Director of the Ha Tinh Department of Transport Le Anh Son, as of November 14, the province has completed the counting; pricing, and approved the compensation plan at 99.49% and has handed over the site to the investor for construction at 98.21%.

The progress of disbursement of project site clearance capital to date is 2,173.94/2,853.43 billion VND, reaching 76.86%. Of which, for the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section: Duc Tho district reached 99.09%, Can Loc district reached 92.66%, Ha Tinh city reached 90.78%, Thach Ha district reached 70.56%; for the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section: Thach Ha district reached 89.39%, Cam Xuyen district reached 77.85%, Ky Anh district reached 55.39%; for the Vung Ang - Bung section: Ky Anh district reached 64.64%, Ky Anh town reached 40.02%.

Many households have started building houses in resettlement areas along the North-South expressway.

At the same time, 26 resettlement areas and 4 cemeteries serving the North-South expressway project through the province have all been implemented. To date, 10 areas have reached 100% completion (7 resettlement areas, 3 cemeteries); the remaining areas have reached 67-99%.

The resettlement areas have basically ensured the conditions for people to be relocated to be able to build new houses. Currently, many households are building houses in the resettlement areas.

At this time, localities in Ha Tinh are still focusing on completing site clearance work for the North-South Expressway project, such as completing resettlement areas; completing payments to households subject to resettlement, households whose assets, structures, and trees are partially affected; relocating power line infrastructure, etc.
