Expressing his joy that the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station (elevated section) project during the trial operation received many positive responses from the people of the capital, the Ambassador said that the Embassy is preparing for the official inauguration ceremony of this project in the near future.
On this occasion, the Ambassador affirmed that the French partners' wish is that the construction of the extended section of the route will be completed quickly. At the same time, he expected Hanoi and France to continue to strongly strengthen activities to promote sustainable transport cooperation in the capital, especially from the French Development Agency (AFD) and the Ile-de-France region with the Moov'Hanoi project.
Currently, Hanoi is also implementing cooperation projects with France in areas including the Long Bien Bridge renovation project, the agricultural wholesale market project..., hoping that these activities will receive support and assistance from the Hanoi government.
Referring to the upcoming visit to France by General Secretary and President To Lam, the Ambassador also hopes that this will be an opportunity to further strengthen connections between Hanoi and French partners.
Expressing his delight at the new milestones in cooperation between Hanoi and French partners and localities, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh affirmed that the capital always creates conditions and supports these activities in all fields, from transportation, urban areas, economic investment to cultural exchange, people-to-people exchange, etc.
With that spirit, the Hanoi government commits to accompany the French Embassy in upcoming activities, as well as always listen and share with French partners to resolve difficulties in implementing projects, ensuring timely completion and effective operation.
With projects that already have a foundation such as the Agricultural Wholesale Market, the city leaders also hope that the two sides will continue to actively exchange information for early implementation.
The city's leaders also affirmed that in their role, they will coordinate with the Embassy to provide maximum support for the upcoming visit to France by the General Secretary and President, as well as promote delegation exchange events and high-level visits by leaders of the two countries.
The Ambassador thanked the city for its goodwill and commitment to support, expressing his belief that the Vietnam-France relationship will continue to grow stronger and be elevated, on the basis of effective cooperation between Hanoi and French partners and localities.
