According to the previously announced schedule, today, July 10, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, specialized high schools, and non-specialized high schools under the department will approve additional benchmark scores for grade 10.

However, according to information from leaders of high schools in Hanoi, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has announced a postponement of the schedule for approving additional benchmark scores for admission to grade 10 at specialized high schools and non-specialized high schools.

The announcement of Hanoi Department of Education and Training does not have a specific next approval schedule.

The postponement of the schedule for approving additional 10th grade benchmark scores has caused many parents whose children did not pass their 3 wishes or did not pass their wishes as expected to be extremely worried.

According to regulations of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, each candidate can register for 3 NVs to enter grade 10 of public high schools and arrange them in order of priority: NV1, NV2, NV3.

Students who have passed NV1 will not be considered for the following wishes. If they fail NV1, they will be considered for wishes 2 and 3 but must have an admission score 1-2 points higher than the school's standard score.

This regulation leads to an awkward situation where, despite having very high scores, candidates still fail their public high school applications. For example, if a candidate scores 40 points and all three of his/her applications are in the top 10 schools this year, then this candidate loses the opportunity to study at public high schools.

Therefore, in reality, many candidates are waiting for the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to announce additional benchmark scores to have the opportunity to study at public high schools.
