The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just announced the exam scores for selecting excellent students in cultural subjects and science subjects for grade 9 of secondary school for the 2023-2024 school year.
Candidates can look up their exam scores at https://diemthi.hanoi.edu.vn by entering their registration number to see their exam scores.
The Hanoi City Excellent Student Competition in Cultural and Science Subjects for Grade 9, 2023-2024 school year, attracted more than 3,500 students to register for the competition. These are excellent students, selected from tens of thousands of Grade 9 and Grade 8 students from secondary schools and inter-level schools in the city. To ensure the accuracy, objectivity, fairness and authenticity of the competition results, the team of officials and teachers in charge of the competition was rotated between districts, towns and cities. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training mobilized 1,055 officials, teachers and employees to perform duties at this competition.
Students register for the exam in the following subjects: literature, history, geography, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, information technology, English, French, Japanese, civics and science. In which, science includes knowledge and skills of physics, chemistry, biology, with the general orientation of the exam being to require students to apply the knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems.
Based on the official results of the exam, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will award certificates to candidates. There are two types of certificates issued: Certificates of students winning prizes in the exam will be issued to candidates who win prizes; Certificates of students participating in the exam will be issued to candidates who participate in the exam but do not win prizes.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training said it has proposed to the Ministry of Education and Training a policy of adding extra points in the 10th grade entrance exam for students who won prizes in the city-level 9th grade cultural and science subject exams; at the same time, it is researching and proposing timely rewards for teachers with good achievements in nurturing excellent students.
