Ha Giang welcomes 848,350 tourists in the first quarter of 2025

CGTĐT - In the first quarter of 2025, the number of tourists to Ha Giang reached 848,350 (of which, 107,888 were international visitors and 740,462 were domestic visitors), equivalent to the same period in 2024, reaching 24.2% of the plan. Total tourist spending in the area is estimated at 2,280.8 billion VND.

International visitors enjoy visiting and experiencing Ha Giang.

In March alone, the number of tourists to Ha Giang was 299,600, of which foreigners were estimated at 32,000, domestic tourists were 267,600, tourism revenue reached 920 billion VND.

To attract tourists, localities in Ha Giang province have successfully organized programs and festivals, attracting a large number of people and tourists such as: Long Tong Festival in Quang Binh, Bac Quang, Vi Xuyen districts; Peach and Pear Flower Festival in Dong Van district; art program and fashion show Hy sac Lac Hong; program to welcome the first visitors to Ha Giang in 2025; specialized conference on tourism development and meeting with tourism businesses and tourism media units in 2025.

In addition, Ha Giang province has issued a Plan to implement communication activities to promote the brand "Ha Giang - Asia's leading emerging tourist destination; Ha Giang - Asia's leading regional cultural destination; established a Project "Positioning and developing Ha Giang province's tourism brand"; surveyed and built specific tourism products in Dong Van and Bac Me districts.

Management of activities at tourist areas, tourist attractions, tourism businesses and tourism services in the area has been strengthened, ensuring conditions to serve tourists during the Lunar New Year 2025.
