Introducing Vietnam map to international friends

Vietnamese students studying and researching abroad have also actively supported the campaign "Pride of a country".

Promote Vietnam image

I will hang a map of Vietnam at my study and work place so that I can always remember and be proud of my homeland every day. Moreover, I can boldly introduce the map of Vietnam to more international friends, and be proud of the territorial sovereignty with the two large archipelagos: Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.

As the Head of the Culture - Sports Department, the Vietnamese Youth and Student Association in Japan, I often organize cultural exchanges, sharing geography, cuisine, festivals and cultural traditions of Vietnam to introduce to international friends. In all those exchanges, we always introduce the map of Vietnam, the wonderful beauty of the country. Another important thing we always mention is the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa of Vietnam. The map of Vietnam is not only a simple tool providing knowledge about the terrain, borders, territorial area, climate, population... of each region of the country, but also a symbol of the spirit of national solidarity. Ngo Thi Anh Tuyet (International student at Teikyo University - Japan)

Vietnam map is an extremely sacred asset.

The project implemented by the Central Youth Union is a very good thing, helping Vietnamese people, especially young people studying and living abroad, to improve their understanding of territorial integrity and at the same time arouse patriotism.

I have also participated in activities to promote the image, country and people of Vietnam to friends around the world. At some festivals held at school, we often make Vietnamese dishes, bring folk games such as: mandarin squares, playing volleyball, jumping rope, blindfolded goat catching... or pictures with traditional characteristics of our homeland to introduce and promote to international friends. The Vietnam Student Festival is one of the special occasions for international students here to connect with each other, learn and enhance national spirit. During those promotions, we are always proud to introduce the national flag and map of the country, which are two extremely sacred assets for Vietnamese people. Vu Dinh Lam (International student at Soongsil University - Korea)

Pride and sovereignty

During nearly 3 years of living and studying in Japan, I often encountered questions from international friends about Vietnamese culture, territory, and people. And my participation in international events such as: Ao Dai performances, dances, traditional songs... answered those questions, helping friends from other countries understand more about Vietnam and its people. Currently, I am still actively doing that through the Vietnamese Youth and Student Association in Japan.

The campaign "Proud of a strip of country" with the content of propaganda and organization for everyone to hang a map of Vietnam at the place of study, work, and work is a very practical thing. It not only helps raise awareness of geographical location but also brings national pride and self-respect in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.
