From the Hien Luong - Ben Hai historical site, the parade of the Cycling Festival for Peace headed to the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery (Gio Linh District, Quang Tri Province). Here, the organizing committee of the Cycling Festival for Peace and hundreds of athletes performed the incense offering ceremony for the heroic martyrs. In addition, the Organizing Committee representative also paid tribute to families with meritorious services to the revolution and presented gifts to poor students who overcame difficulties and studied well.
The gifts presented on this occasion include: 15 bicycles supported by the Quang Tri Province Sports Cycling Club; 15 gifts for policy families in Quang Tri (worth 2 million VND/gift) supported by Thanh Nien Newspaper, Tran Cuisine and Quang Tri Province Sports Cycling Club.

On June 29, at the Hien Luong - Ben Hai Relic Site (Vinh Linh District), all racers, delegates, and cycling enthusiasts, regardless of gender or age, were invited to participate in the parade. After saluting the flag at the Hien Luong border flagpole, the parade marched 42 km along the route: starting from the Hien Luong - Ben Hai Special National Relic Site, crossing Hien Luong Bridge to Trung Son intersection (Gio Linh District), turning onto Provincial Road 76 and continuing to the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, then ending at Fidel Park (Dong Ha City). |
