After offering incense at the martyrs' monument, visitors will move to the graves of the ten female youth volunteers. They respectfully offer incense and place white chrysanthemums on the graves to show gratitude and commemorate the contributions of the ten girls at Dong Loc T-junction. Next, visitors move to the bomb crater area, where they are reminded by the tour guides of the Dong Loc T-junction Relic Site Management Board of the brutality on the vital road in the past. This is a strategic location where the fierce battle between the will and steel spirit of the traffic security forces on the vital road took place during the years when the US bombed the North - Photo: LE MINH
Ms. Nguyen Thi La (a tourist from Quang Ninh) said that for many years now, every time Tet comes, she and her family and children travel a long distance to visit the Dong Loc T-junction relic site to burn incense and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs. "Each trip brings her emotions, but more importantly, through these trips, she wants her children and grandchildren, the young generation, to experience the historical artifacts displayed at the relic site, through which her children and grandchildren will have more lessons about historical values and always remember the merits of the heroic martyrs" - Photo: LE MINH
