This morning, July 5, the Propaganda Department of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of social opinion collaborators for the second quarter of 2024.

In the second quarter of 2024, DLXH collaborators will proactively grasp and objectively and honestly reflect the opinions of cadres, party members, and people on various areas of social life according to the locality, industry, and field where collaborators work and live.
However, the ability to grasp the reality, forecast the situation and propose ways to respond to outstanding, complex and sensitive issues occurring in the area and field where the collaborator is responsible is still limited and passive. During the quarter, there were 81 periodic reports, 12 quick reports; 33 quick messages were received from collaborators and coordinated to handle.
At the conference, DLXH collaborators were informed about recent public events of interest regarding the international, domestic and provincial situations. Highlights included the contents of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly; the socio-economic situation, the state budget and other important issues.
Public opinion is interested and hopes that the Provincial Party Standing Committee will continue to direct the Provincial People's Committee to lead departments, branches, and functional agencies to effectively and practically implement the activities of the Festival for Peace, ensuring the requirements of an international festival.
Continue to direct positive and effective solutions in implementing procedures, supporting investment and business activities of enterprises in the province; have effective and serious solutions in ensuring environmental safety in production and business of enterprises and farms, especially in residential areas and rivers.
Public opinion suggests that the government and relevant authorities, when implementing the merger of commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2030 period, need to carefully research and select commune and ward names that are associated with history and have a meaningful contribution to educating and promoting local traditions...
Relevant ministries and sectors need to soon have fundamental, practical, long-term strategic and specific solutions for trucks and vehicles with more than 30 seats traveling on the Cam Lo - La Son expressway to protect people's lives...
Parents, schools, and organizations need to step up propaganda and education to raise awareness and skills to prevent drowning for children during the summer. Authorities need to further strengthen the fight against drug crimes, to effectively prevent drug trafficking in the area...
Regarding the propaganda orientation in the coming time, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Quoc Khanh suggested that DLXH collaborators focus on information, propaganda, grasping and orienting public opinion on the celebration of major holidays, especially the Festival for Peace.
Monitor, grasp, explain, and orient public opinion related to a number of major projects in the province. Forecast the situation and propose ways to respond to prominent, complex, and sensitive issues in the area and field of responsibility.
