INCREASE CONNECTION VALUE, UNLEASH RESOURCES FROM THE COMMUNITY
In particular, not only to honor and spread, the Community Action Award was born to accompany, guide and connect all individuals and groups who have, are and will carry the responsibility for the community in their journey; so that all community activities in Vietnam are created transparently, scientifically, effectively and humanely.
Explaining this, Ms. Mai Anh, a member of the Human Act Prize 2023 Jury, said: The Human Act Prize aims at many goals, first of all, to help people who are doing good deeds have the opportunity to "tell their stories" thereby inspiring the community.
“Then, through the Human Act Prize, individuals, organizations, and businesses for the community will find common ground, connect, and learn from each other, without any stratification or boundaries. This connection will create community strength, thereby helping to spread kindness even more strongly,” Ms. Mai Anh analyzed.
In fact, it was not until the Gala Awards night that the “connection expectations” were realized. On the day of the Final Round of judging for 35 ideas and projects, singer My Tam, a member of the Jury, directly donated 500 million VND to 2 projects, including the Community Fund for Natural Disaster Prevention and FAS Angel.

“I hope that this year’s Human Act Prize will have many organizations and businesses participating. I also especially hope that there will be more initiatives to create jobs for people with disabilities.”
Last year, like many businesses, Tolkyolife faced many difficulties. However, the Angel project was still maintained to help the disadvantaged. Although it has not grown in number, the project has opened some training courses to improve the working spirit of the less fortunate.
TokyoLife calls the disabled people working at the company “angels”, because they are fully capable of creating great values not only in terms of material but also spiritual. Training skills for the disabled is a difficult task, TokyoLife is a pioneer in building a recruitment, training and integration process specifically for this special group of personnel.
Mr. Pham Quoc Viet, Captain of the FAS Angel First Aid Support Team, expects the Human Act Prize 2024 to have new award structures. In addition to collective awards, attention should also be paid to outstanding individuals.
“There are many people who have not been afraid of hardships and difficulties for many years to build a project. Honoring the project alone is not enough. We should have an award structure for individuals who are truly outstanding and have contributed to the community. That way, there will be more categories and clearer aspects for the community to look at. Personally, I also hope that this year I will be voted into the category as an inspirational character to continue writing stories, taking inspirational actions to spread more positive things to the community,” said Mr. Viet.
