In the period of 2021 - 2023, Thang Binh district mobilized more than 1,857 billion VND to invest in infrastructure works, reaching more than 44% of the target according to Resolution No. 02; thereby meeting people's travel needs and creating momentum for local socio-economic development.
Accordingly, in terms of traffic infrastructure, Thang Binh invested more than 149 billion VND, completing more than 9.2km of university roads, nearly 34km of rural concrete roads, 15 box culverts, 14 bridges... meeting the traffic criteria of a new rural district.
In addition, from the central and provincial budgets, Thang Binh district focuses on implementing key traffic works and strategic projects to create breakthroughs in promoting socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security such as: the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E; expanding Vo Chi Cong Road; component project of 2 connecting roads from Vo Chi Cong Road to Dong Que Son Industrial Park connecting to National Highway 14H and National Highway 1; Binh Sa Bridge project to Binh Hai (Tay Giang Bridge)... Up to now, the project of connecting road from the rescue road (Vo Chi Cong Road) to National Highway 1 connecting to the expressway has been basically completed.
Attention has been paid to investment in irrigation and clean water infrastructure; by the end of 2023, 100% of the rural population and more than 75% of the urban population will use clean, hygienic water. In addition, the district has invested more than 373 billion VND in building new and repairing schools; to date, 69/70 schools have met national standards level 1...
