The 41st Bac Giang Newspaper Run attracted more than 3 thousand athletes

The 41st Bac Giang Newspaper Open Race in 2024 - Sacred Land of Convergence is organized by Bac Giang Newspaper in coordination with the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Education and Training, Health, Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Police and Bac Giang City People's Committee.

Up to now, the tournament has attracted more than 3 thousand athletes. Of which, 1.7 thousand athletes participated in the group running event; 1.4 thousand athletes participated in the marathon event at the following distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km.

Here, representatives of agencies reported on the progress of the assigned tasks; raised difficulties and technical problems; proposed some issues related to health care, security, order, and traffic safety. At the same time, analyzed and forecasted situations that may arise during the event, the opening time...

In order to ensure the completion of the tournament's contents as well as facilitate the participation of forces, vehicles, and athletes, delegates proposed adjusting the opening time from 7:30 a.m. on October 13 to the afternoon of October 12.

Accordingly, it is expected that right after the opening ceremony (afternoon of October 12), some events will take place such as: Delegates, provincial leaders, officials, civil servants, employees of departments, branches, and celebrities will participate in the race. Then, athletes will participate in the group run. The marathon events at different distances will still take place on the morning of October 13.
