Specifically, the afternoon buying price of gold bars reached 100 million VND/tael, the selling price reached 102.3 million VND/tael - an increase of 500,000 VND compared to the end of yesterday. In just 1 day, each tael of gold increased by 1.2 million VND/tael.

Similarly, the price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold of all kinds was also traded around 99.2 million VND/tael for buying, 101.6 million VND/tael for selling - an increase of 400,000 VND compared to the end of yesterday.

The price of plain gold rings unexpectedly increased slower than that of gold bars at SJC Company.

However, many other gold companies pushed the selling price of plain gold rings to over 102 million VND, such as PNJ and Bao Tin Minh Chau.

Gold bar price hit new peak this morning

Gold prices today continue to set new peaks for both SJC gold bars and plain gold rings. Since the beginning of 2025, each tael of gold has increased by about 18 million VND/tael.

In the international market, the price of precious metals easily surpassed 3,100 USD/ounce and far surpassed this mark, jumping to 3,138 USD/ounce despite many warnings about the hot increase in gold prices since the beginning of the year.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 97.6 million VND/tael, about 5 million VND lower than the SJC gold price.
